That has pretty much been the story of my life. I was usually attracted (or they were attracted to me) to women who were in relationships that were not working. Some had been recently separated from their husbands and some had boyfriends where they were not happy and soon to leave them.

Enter a guy who was nice to them (me) and it would be all good for awhile and then they would see how serious I was into them and that would turn them off and that was the end of that. I was the one that ended up being hurt.

So no, I wouldn't want to be the cause of breaking up a relationship (good or bad) because I wouldn't want it done unto me.

I don't understand that mindset. If you fall in love with someone attached, and she is willing to cheat or leave her current SO for you, they aren't worth pursuing. Then when the "newness" of your relationship wears off you'll receive the same treatment.
