Even though they have already killed off a ton of people I still find myself confused at who some of these people are. When people started asking where Beth was, I was like "who the hell is Beth?"
And I never seem to recognize the stepmother whenever she is on screen, I always have to figure out who she is by the bride being snippy to her. Guess it doesn't matter now.

Also, it looks like the spoilers on Wikipedia for this week's episode were put there by somebody who made them up.

I still don't know the name of the black guy with dreads and the blonde guy.
Anyways, I caught up with last week's episode and tonight's this evening and both were pretty good episodes.
I just thought it was a really awkward location for the killer to place Beth's body. The Stepmother's death didn't really do anything for me from a shock standpoint. Getting a pair of garden scissors stuck on your back without anyone actually seeing was a very anticlimatic way to end the episode.
I'm glad that the cast has dwindled down to a more managable level for the viewer.

As for the reveal at the end of the episode, my guess is that
It was clever to use off-screen kills this episode, so it will be easier to cover their tracks as far as where everyone was when the murders happened.

I think Katherine was poisoned or drugged before being stabbed. Maybe she was given a drug that paralyzed her body or kept her from filling pain. She was probably stabbed nobody was around.

The diary said "Sarah had my child" not "Sarah had my daughter", which I think pretty much guarantees that:
1) Abby really is the Sheriff's daughter
2) Wakefield's child is the killer
3) The killer is male

That was my take as well. I just don't think continuity wise any of the still alive male characters have been free to do all of these killings. The Beth killing in the last episode pretty much guarantees that she knew the killer (as freaked out as she was she would never wander off alone).

I think at this point he's a highly likely suspect. He fits most of the criteria, and he's been on his own enough in the last couple episodes that it even sort of works.

Henry was with Abby when the deputy was killed, so he couldn't be the sole killer without a plothole.

Wakefield is played by the actor Callum Keith Rennie, who is actually a very good actor, and was in the reboot of Battlestar Galactica, Californication, the newer X-Files movie, plus a slew of other stuff. Why get an actor with that type of resume to just be a "head shot" on a piece of paper? Wakefield will show up as a walking/talking person at somepoint...... unless he's a flashback.

Does anybody else get a creepy vibe from that little girl? I think there's more to her than meets the eye.
Also, I think she said the Sheriff kidnapped her because that's what the real kidnapper told her to say as part of his "game".

I'm starting to believe this too, on top of being Wakefield's kid he'd want revenge for Abby leaving him.
The episode was decent this week, I was expecting more action but I guess that they'll keep this for the last few episodes.

I think that's becoming more and more likely as I continue to watch.

How many network shows that get just over 3M people watching it and have so many people talking about it?
That shows that this is a pretty good limited series and would be great viewing on DVD in a weekend sitting. Especially with a group of people that haven't seen the show yet, which according to the ratings is almost everyone.
That is, unless of course, the final 3 or 4 (??) episodes really suck and the whole story falls apart!

I agree, it's fun to talk about it. The acting is bad, the characters are unbelievable, the 2 main characters are superficial and lame, the pace sometimes sucks, but it's good cheesy entertainment.

Which of the murders do you think was most creative?
My vote is for the head spade, although, I doubt it was heavy enough to do as much damage as was implied.
I think we're down to three last people getting it before the end.
1. Blonde guy
2. Dreadlocks guy
3. Shane
Henry going all Chuck Norris on Shane was completely unbelievable, Henry would go into a coma if you hit him with a Nerf ball.
