What he said. It's her Josie and the Pussycats inspiered character design that does it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I feel dirty as hell, but that video for "Busted" is well....nevermind.

Yeah, let's just leave it at that...

Oh and this cutie provides her voice.

I LOVE P&F! They just showed the first episode recently, which I hadn't seen before, and I couldn't help but notice they changed Phineas' voice since then.

My kids watched that episode on disney this weekend as well, and I instantly looked up and said thats a different Phineas!
I do like the voice they ended up going with better than the one in the pilot, so no complaints from me.

The hour-long episode "Summer Belongs To You" airs tonight at 8PM on the Disney Channel and DisneyHD.

Plus, they're currently having an all-day marathon leading up to the premiere.

Watched it on DXD last week - it was pretty funny.

References to Descartes, Voltaire, and Lamorisse all in one show prove how awesome P&F is. At the same time it was kind of disconcerting hearing "Aunt Tiana" on Louie as the c-word heckler.

Had never paid much attention to this show, but my daughter actually wrote on our family calendar the special hour-long episode tonight. She was concerned she/we might miss it.

I'm still pissed that Disney and Dish haven't come to an agreement on the HD channels. P&F looked awesome in HD.

I ordered that off Disney.com a couple months ago, and I'd give it a mixed review. The audio quotes sound great and are funny, but even the slightest movement sets him off and there's no way to disable it. If he doesn't sit in a perfectly still state somewhere, I'm sure the batteries would die in a day or two. He's currently high up on a book shelf in our living room coming up with evil schemes.

Re: Any "Phineas And Ferb" Fans?

My 8- and 10-year old cousins made me watch this about two months ago during a visit to my aunt and uncle's, and now I watch the show whenever possible! It's great to see a cartoon that has plenty to offer kids and adults.

I remember watching the episode with my cousins and thinking that the Perry/Doofenschmirtz B-story was pointless and took time away from Phineas and Ferb A-story. But I soon realized (and appreciated) how the two stories are intertwined and end up impacting each other!

Dare I say that the only character that makes me groan more often than laugh on the show is Isabella. I get that Isabella has a crush on Phineas (who doesn't notice), but she seems almost obsessed in her crush in a scary "Kathy Bates in Misery - I'm your number one fan" way!

Re: Any "Phineas And Ferb" Fans?

I have a 2-year old son and we just discovered this show a few weeks ago. I'm 28 and I think I like it more than he does. It's actually pretty funny and clever for a kids' show.

Has Perry ever spoken?

Check out the episode called "Interview with a Platypus". The boys build a machine that will translate what Perry is saying. But the short answer is he doesn't speak.

I'm 42 and I watch it with my 4 yr old daughter. It's a great show.

There's gonna be a TV movie (called something like "Across The 2nD Dimention") airing soon. It seems Candace teams up with the boys to stop Doofenshmirtz. I wonder if adult Candace makes a return appearance.

If anyone wants to catch-up on missed episodes, the entire series is available on Netflix streaming.

I've been looking forward to that. Saw a commercial a couple weeks ago. It airs on August 5th (Disney Channel). Here's the trailer:

Re: Any "Phineas And Ferb" Fans?

So given what I see around 1:29 of that trailer, the boys find out Perry is a scret agent? Or will they just assume he's only a secret agent in the 2nd dimension?

Re: Any "Phineas And Ferb" Fans?

I've checked out some of the first season on Netflix streaming and really enjoyed them. I wish more animated shows could entertain both kids and adults without skewing the humor too far in either direction.

Re: Any "Phineas And Ferb" Fans?

I have a 5 year old and Phineas and Ferb is by far my favorite show that he watches. I try to get him to watch it as often as possible just so I have an excuse!

The hardest part is when I laugh at something he doesn't get, I have to try to explain it to him. Like when Norm the giant robot and Doofensmirtz are talking about switching places or something (while Norm is making the potato salad) and Norm responds, "...and I'll sit around making plans that ultimately fail..." (or something like that). I just started cracking up and my son looked at me like I was crazy.

I even have the soundtracks - Squirrels in my Pants is awesome. And my son and I are constantly singing the No Candy in Me song.

Loved the Tiny Cowboy's meatloaf song in last night's episode. That's Davy Jones and Peter Noone.
