ABC slates summer tweaks
'Japanese Game Show' makes early return
By MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
ABC is making a few summer schedule tweaks, including an earlier-than-anticipated return for "I Survived a Japanese Game Show."
"Japanese Game Show's" second season premiere has now been moved up to June 17, behind "Wipeout."
Wednesday comedies "Surviving Suburbia" and "The Goode Family," meanwhile, will now move to Fridays at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively, starting June 12.
"Suburbia" and "Goode" have been pulled off Wednesdays immediately, which means ABC will air back-to-back originals of "Wipeout" next Wednesday. On Fridays, the two comedies will take the place of "Wife Swap" repeats.
"Japanese Game Show" had originally been slated for a July 8 launch.

Does anyone think CBS will upgrade Big Brother to HD this year?

Mad Men premiere date announced. Will premiere Sunday August 16th.

Also, when it does air, you will need to pad your DVR's if it doesn't already recognize shows that run long. AMC is adding an extra commercial break and the show will end up running a few minutes longer.

Does anyone know how soon we will get any info on Big Brother, changes to the house, revealing the cast. Only three more weeks to go, and I now have showtime for Big Brother after dark.

They usually reveal that about a week before the show starts. It starts on the 9th, so they will probably enter the house on the 3rd or 4th.

Not that anyone cares, but The Listener on NBC got canned. The final 5 episodes will stream online.

That kinda sucks. Couldn't they just have moved it to a different time slot and let it see out the remainder of the season. I hate watching TV on computer since I don't have the necessary equipment to hook my computer up to the TV.
Hopefully they'll have all 5 immediately available after the last one airs on NBC.
I kinda liked the show, but can see why it got cancelled.
