Coach has gone and ruined ponderosa too. He's no longer the dragon slayer, he's the truth seeker.

Sorry, I just don't find crazy entertaining. Leave people like that for the second tier reality shows.

Losing 31 lbs is pretty amazing, though, for Coach. I think Debbie had only lost 8. Sierra was something like 12. Although, judging by the videos Sierra and Debbie have now probably gained all the weight back the way that they're eating. Coach, of course, has his own "unique" ideas about eating.

Coach seems like a very lonely soul who is trying to convince himself that he's not.

In a weird way, I found myself almost rooting for him, even though it meant risk spraining my eyeballs from all the eye rolling.
I think of him as more Walter Mitty-esque than tragic. but certainly humorously tragic.

If they do another all-stars...Coach needs to be in it just for more of his ridiculous quotes

Happy to see Coach voted out, but MAN is he going to ramble on when the jury speaks.

I would think that his inclusion is about as much of a sure thing as you can get regarding a future all-stars show.

Yeah, Probst said three tribal councils. Also the contestants have specificaly mentioned the "final two" a bunch of times this season. Seems they already knew going in there was going to be a final two, even theough the last few finals they would have seen before participating were final threes.

Coach is funny as shit! His scenes, whether you hate him or not, are the most entertaining ones I've seen on any season of survivor, and I've seen them all!

this guy couldn't be more full of sh!t. They're going to spend the entire reunion on him because Probst has a man crush on him.

I like when he says, and I quote: "My white blood cells are warriors and killed the tumor. That is why my cells were medically calssified as tumor slayers. I know it sounds crazy, but doctors now take my blood and transfer it to the bodies of tumor patients to do battle cell to cell and save lives."

Youre awesome Coach. I was pissed to see him go.

Agreed. These are the first set of Ponderosa videos of the season that I haven't enjoyed.

Erinn is very sexy. She's a little on the thin side but thats probably from lack of food. I bet she looks like a dime at the reunion show.

Coach is gone. I still think he would have been a good guy to keep around the final 3.

They should just clone Coach and and make him battle 15 other Coaches next season.

If this seems unrealistic, just ask Coach how to do it. He'll know.

I've liked Erinn more and more as the season went on. The fact that she always does the confessionals in her bikini doesn't hurt. But Sydney still wins on pure hotness.

I knew it would never happen, but they needed to wake up and smell the body odor and break up JT-Stephen. They can't do it now with the numbers, and won't win the last challenges.

Re: Survivor: Tocantins - The Brazilian Highlands - 5/14/09

I guess we'll find out in a few hours, but I just watched JT's vote for Erinn and he says something about it being a security vote. I think he was on board with voting out Coach and they were just splitting the vote to protect Stephen.

They both knew Coach was voting Erinn. Had JT and Stephen both voted for Coach, the ladies could've theoretically blindsided Stephen by both voting for him. It would be 2 votes Stephen, 2 votes Coach, and Coach voting for Erinn. In the revote, Stephen is out 3-2 (assuming Coach doesn't go vote for himself).

By splitting their votes, had the ladies gone and voted Stephen, there would now be 2 votes Erinn, 2 votes Stephen, and 1 vote Coach, and Stephen simply switches to Erinn in the revote.

Are they actually that smart? I don't know, but we'll find out tonight.

^I do think they did it to split the vote. I don't think JT and Stephen would do anything strategic without letting the other one know about it. But if they were worried about what you posted then Stephen would have simply just played the HII.
