The Mentalist - "Blood Brothers" - 5/12/09
They try to make it close to Friday the 13th.
The Mentalist is the best show about cops and crime I've seen in a while. Monk is great. It has more humor in it than this. Every episode, has just the right amount of humor, action, drama... I like Simon Baker. The Guardian was excellent. Wish they would release it on dvd. Smith was a great show to me. Canceled after 7 episodes. But The Mentalist takes the prize.

This show seems to disappoint me every week. I like Jane, so I guess that it is the weak/uninteresting cases that are the problem.

Finally, an ep where I'm not distracted by Baker slipping up on his American accent. I do not understand why they don't reshoot those scenes. It's weird enough hearing him do the 'stay tuned for scenes from our next episode' promo.
I'm just glad they're giving the tall white dude and the tall white chick lines that aren't as campy as the first half dozen episodes. The short asian guy from the Chevron commercial is still pretty cliche, though.
