I think Kris will win. I honestly thought Adam pissed off enough people by that horrific rendition of One that it will hurt him.

While I typically like Adam, I really do think he stunk up the place with his rendition of One. Cryin' was okay, but not much more.
That said, I'll hold my opinions till next week in terms of who will win this thing. I really like Kris and at this point, I do hope he wins. But I think the ace up Adam's sleeve has yet to be played.
A hint of it was shown in his Hometown Hero bit. It sounded like he pulled a really decent, understated version of the Star Spangled Banner. If he can deliver something similar with his original Idol number, which at this point would be unexpected, he could have this in the bag. Understated Adam could still stand out from the orchestra and choir and really sell the thing.
Kris, on the other hand, does best when he plays solo. I honestly don't think Kris has the strength in his voice needed to fully sell one of those inspirational Idol cr*pfests and not get swallowed up by the background.
No matter what, I'm just happy that Gokey is out. I've never understood the praise on his voice. Almost every performance he gave came across as a weak Go West imitation - blue-eyed soul missing the soul.

Oh well, I liked Danny, but Paula did him No Favors.
And he did himself none with butchering the arrangments on an Iconic song. If he sung it straight up Cocker style, he would have sailed.

glad to see danny go. i have never voted before but next week im going to vote a bunch for kris. i really dont want to see adam win.
i also dont think adam will be a big star. i really dont see people buying adams cd's after the first one. his style is very dated. kris on the otherhand i could see being on the radio today and doing very well.

I am sad to see Danny go. I stopped watching several weeks ago, as I couldn't stand the over the top love for Adam every time he came on stage. I just watched a few select people's performances. I think Danny still had the best voice on the show, but Kris has become a favorite and I think he will win.

I'm predicting it right now - KRIS will win. He is going to get ALL of Danny's fans, and they will be motivated to vote against Adam. I have a theory that Adam's support has slowly been eroding as America tires of his over the top act. I have a feeling that his and Kris' support is much closer than most people think, and Danny's votes will push him over the top.
At the very least, he's a more talented MUSICIAN. Adam is clearly the more talented performer.

Also, from the tv footage, it looked like a lot more people turned out for Kris in his hometown vs Danny/Adam.

I don't care who wins. All 2 (3 including Dorkey) are so uninteresting. And I can't stand the going-home segments they do every year. Katy Perry can not sing. Same for the African kid. Alicia Keys looked good. I'm out.
