I liked that although the show ended "in universe" the characters are still going be cops and keep doing their job

Worst of the three IMO.
Not speaking of finales either. The show was harder to invest from the get-go.

From the little I've seen of CI, I don't see why not. I liked the short USA revival from years ago and Erbe and D'Onofrio had great chemistry.
But, I think Wolf might be stretched a little thin with his creative team. He has 3 FBI shows on CBS, 3 Chicago shows still airing on NBC and 3 L&O shows still airing on NBC. Most of his best writers and producers are already working on these shows. It would be really tough for him to staff another show with a decent creative team.
