Linda Lake returns. That should be fun for an hour.
Too bad that my enthusiasm for the show has severely dwindled during the hiatus and with the news of the show's renewal for another season when I was excited they were gearing up to wrap the series with a bang.

Every time they say it, I can't help but think the "Red-blue blur" is the dumbest fucking name in the universe.

According to the Wiki for S6's "Hydro":
I didn't remember that myself but then again, it wasn't the best episode either...
When Linda exposed a sports star for using steroids, he attempted to kill her but she managed to elude him and then drown him. Later, Linda used her power to find out that Lana Lang was wary about accepting Lex Luthor's marriage proposal because of her lingering feelings for Clark Kent. Lex also got Linda to find anything out on Clark.
Linda infiltrated Chloe's apartment and overheard Chloe state that Clark was an alien. She wrote another story about him but Chloe Sullivan broke into her office and smashed her laptop. Linda then chased Chloe with a nail gun, intending to kill her, but was beaten by Chloe and run over by Lana. She burst into a splash of water, which drained away, and her fate was not revealed.

Yeah, it was boring overall, but at least they threw in some things to make it fun.
I laughed at the little kid with the red jacket and blue shirt.
I will never get tired of watching Chloe run.

Loved the show (even though they have done different versions of it before), but I cannot have another Lana/Clarck almost relationship. Just get Clark and Lois together now and have them work as a team.

Lois is back but when she is in love she gets all mopey and depressing.
A lot happened but then it was all undone by the ring so why should we care.
If Linda is water, how could she be smothered by a pillow?

I enjoyed the episode as someone who has been watching since the pilot. I thought the fact that Clark is swearing off time travel (yeah, right), Davis is going to blow soon, and Lois/Clark are inching closer to a couple were okay. Glad Lake has finally dried up. It was just seeing Smallville after such a long hiatus...

I'm about half way through it and wondering what kind of reset button they're going to pull out of their ass
