Big Bang Theory -- The Terminator Decoupling -- 3/9/09

Spoiler:
The guys' trip to San Francisco takes a detour once they learn that actress Summer Glau (appearing as herself) is on their train. Astrophysicist George Smoot also has a cameo.

That was a dick move by Howard towards Raj.

Sheldon's conversation with Penny at the beginning in the apartment, on the train and at the conference with the real scientist was hilarious.

Considering how long it takes to get through security on a flight, I really can't imagine a train ride being 7 times longer than a flight. I'm talking about from the time you leave your place to when you arrive at your destination.

Anyone see Sheldon's flip clothes folder on his bed when he was RFID-ing his clothes? That made me laugh.

That was a very funny episode. Loved Sheldons nickname "Moonpie" ::

Poor Raj Hopefully he gave her his number so maybe he can have a shot with Summer

I missed that, but I still need to pick one of those things up.

Great opening line by Raj to Summer Glau, even if it was Howard's.

Actually, I've taken the train from LA to SF on various occasions and it really does because the train isn't going full steam since the railroad tracks are typically owned by the shipping companies and so they have the right of way. There were a lot of times where we would be sitting on the tracks waiting for trains to go by.

Decent episode. I did like flipping back and forth between Shelden, Leonard, and Penny when Shelden was trying to give her instructions about getting the flash drive.

I cracked up when Sheldon told Penny the thing with the time on it was his alarm clock.

For someone as precise as Sheldon, his physical description of his socks for his catalog was woefully inadequate.

I tuned in because of Summer Glau but didn't think this was very good - was hoping for some more Firefly/Serenity related talk. I tried to get into this show in season 1 and couldn't get past the 4th ep... I heard it got way better, but if last night was any indication, I guess this show is not for me.

This episode actually felt a little forced to me, and Leonard was too one-note for my tastes.

I wasn't paying really close attention but I thought the two pairs he cataloged were the same - I thought this was setting up a joke on him because of his need for precision.

I just watched this last night. I thought they were multiple pairs of the same socks.
