So you people liked the Ma Petrelli lunch scene? I thought it looked incredibly awkward, and she looked very strange and disturbing.
Overall, not impressed other than the Sylar stuff was interesting. I still don't understand how having Parkman detonate a bomb like any other common terrorist was supposed to support their cause.

I can't speak for anyone else but that may be why I dug it. She was clearly in the "Predator" role and just seemed like Angela was back to being the "Bad ass woman you don't fuck with" she was long ago in the show.

Man, I was sweating bullets during the bomb scene with Parkman. Thankfully terrorists follow really exacting color standards when it comes to bomb wires - otherwise the guy from the bomb squad may not have been able to figure it out from 100 yards away.

Did anyone pick up on what Ma Petrelli said to Danko about all his people dying and him being the lone survivor? Hmm... someone has a power...

I agree, it makes her seem all that more powerful if just because of her resourcefulness.

I'm not talking about the scene, but just her acting and facial expressions. It was strange, and a little revolting when she's slurping down oysters while talking. It really threw me off. Also, her smiles were coming off like she had just had a stroke, and couldn't do it properly.

I don't understand what treatments Hayden was getting on her hair that caused it to be so distressed. Why not just use her natural hair, or something closer to it so that they could get rid of the wig later? It's not like they didn't have an opportunity to do that with the between-seasons time jump. She's still my least favorite storyline of the bunch.
Can someone explain the comic book geek's question? Flight or invisibility? At first I thought the choices were:
1. Fly off and save people or
2. Turn invisible and hide
but the choices he gave were:
1. Fly off and save people or
2. Turn invisible, take everything in, and plan things out before you act
I'd think the first interpretation would've worked better with the personal dilemma she was facing. Unless they're going to turn her into some master strategist, which would be a gigantic leap considering all the boneheaded things she's done so far.

Pretty good ep. The Sylar stuff was good, though I was totally expecting Sylar to peek into his dad's brain at the end. Ma Patrelli was good too.
I'm not sure where they're going with the Hiro stuff, but I already don't like it.

Yes, I know. My point was, why didn't he just slice open Sylar's head with his Telekinesis? Why even mess with the knife. TK is much faster, and he should be salivating at the prospect of a healing factor, not wanting to 'savor' the moment.

Of course, this goes on in Smallville too with people telling Clark as much when it takes strangers from the future (LoSH) to say the same thing to get him to pause and think.

Well considering HRG, her mom, pretty much everyone has been telling her to think rather than act... it took a geek to make a statement that would stick.

I didn't say it was perfect. The writers just keep trying to hammer home the whole "with great power comes great responsibility" mantra to death.

I thought it was further reinforcement of her spray paint huffing addiction they hinted at in an earlier season. thus, the crazy acting while eating lunch

I thought Sylars dad would be played by William Shatner or Leonard Nimoy

I am curious. Has the show been getting better since Bryan Fuller took over? I stopped watching about 3 episodes ago.
