yeah, definitely picking up in quality. maybe NBC liked what they saw with Fuller's input/direction and that's why it got another season. although having Claire working in a comic book shop is ridiculous.

Pretty good episode. I don't if it was Fuller or else, but it was really good.
Ma Petrelly as excellent as mentioned by Giantrobo. And yeah kinda of weird that scene with the socks.
I really liked the scene with Sylar and his dad, a lot of thinks to think about there.
Claire was the weakest link again, but she looked hot again and they did really good close ups, so that helped a bit.

I, as a geek, felt offended by the stereotype.

So, I was probably distracted while watching this last night, but what exactly is the deal with Sylar's dad? What is his power? Is it like Sylar's (which I never really understood anyway)?

Why isn't Nathans hair ever messed up after flying?
yes, Sylar' power is that he can see how things work, so he can look into one's brain to see how that particular power works and then he can replicate it, Arthur Petrelli taught Sylar how to replicate it without opening up the brain, something Lionel Luthor (sorry dont know sylars dads name) has not figured out.

I was surprised the owner/manager of the comic book shop wasn't spraying air freshener into the air every two minutes to ward off the accumulation of B.O. Or that everyone in the store wasn't walking around with clothes clips pinned to their nose.

He obviously has the same power-stealing ability. He also showed he can move objects with his mind and he has some sort of paralyzing whistle sound he can do.

Liked this episode a bunch. And Angela Petrelli has become my favorite character on the show.

Really? Nobody understood the socks? Season 1 Angela revealed that she would shoplift things like socks and other small items just to feel alive. I guess she's back at it.
What I don't get is, why didn't Sylar kill his dad and take all the powers he's acquired over the years? I'm sure Sylar's dad must have one or two Sylar doesn't have yet.

I googled "Hayden heroes wig" and found this:
Overall a decent episode. The scene of Ma Patrelli sucking down the oysters was the highlight.

And I thought Claire was looking rather decent without make up when confronted by puppetmaster. Much more than the glam-whorish cheerleader look she has.
