"That's one long-ass boobie hair."

I LOL'd through most of the second episode.

These two episodes were great but I liked the second best of all.

And I'm feeling like Kelso toward Denise. At first I didn't care for her at all but somehow she's gradually become my favorite intern.

"You're name is Sonny Day?"

Best name since Keith Dudemeister.

Calling back to the Jan Itor in the Fugitive was pretty sneaky and yes, the reprise of Guy Love was great.

And Denise is learning to care about her patients and their well being.

I sort of dozed off towards the end of the first episode. It was kind of boring with no JD. What's with the cast taking turns not being in episodes. Last week it was Turk.

I've definitely warmed up to Denise since we now know she's into fatties.

Denise was great in these two episodes. Some of the lines she had were great but the funniest lines in either episode were when people were saying stuff to her.

"Hey DudeChick, wanna grab a beer?"

And she's hot and into fat dudes. Hopefully she's a method actress.

Re: Scrubs - "My Absence" & "My Comedy Show" (02/10/09)

So what happened to the perky blonde intern? It seemed like she was being set up to be a part of the Scrubs: The New Class early on, but has seemed to have vanished.

Not to sound like a jerk but we cover this every week: due to the budget, the A-list veterans of the show have to take two episodes off at least.

At least this time, the producers did have Zach Braff record voiceover and audio for Elliot's cel phone. Previously, when he/she were off, he/she were sight and sound unseen.

I like it since it gives the fans a chance to see and feel what the show would be like without them since Zach Braff, Judy Reyes, and series creator Bill Lawrence are leaving the show. This truly makes it the final season for these people. If Scrubs were to continue to a new season, it would probably be just Dr. Cox as the Chief of Medicine, Turk as head surgeon, and Elliot with her private practice. It would work but that would mean Carla has left medicine to take care of her children but no explanation for JD leaving.

Re: Scrubs - "My Absence" & "My Comedy Show" (02/10/09)

Loved both. I was LOL-ing at several moments. Who knew that JD & Turk's restraint for PDA would be funnier than the real thing. Guy Love was just icing on the cake. I actually like Ed the Indian guy that got fired last week, but Sunny Day is just as good a replacement. Denise with her hair down was HOT.

How many more episodes do we have since they are running two a night???
The show should not continue without key cast members!!

Re: Scrubs - "My Absence" & "My Comedy Show" (02/10/09)

First episode was pretty weak, second episode was great. The dubbing of Sunny's voice in the first episode was god-awful and made me think they were introducing another "whiny-voiced intern" character (who is the worst character on the show IMO), but she was fine in the second episode. They're kind of going overboard with introducing new characters this season, although so far I really like Denise and Jimmy the overly-touchy orderly.

I thought both episodes were great. Lots of hilarious one-liners spread through them. Kelso was particularly hilarious this week. Oh, count me in as another one who has since warmed up to the DudeChick.
