I recorded this on SD because I was almost out of DVR space, and all they did was whack the sides to make it 1.33, even cutting off the beginning and endings of names in the opening credits. They didn't even try!

This felt like the series finale in many ways. Really, really great to have Dr. Morganstern return. The writers have been clever in the way they've had the former stars return without it feeling too forced. The cameo by Dr Corday was also believable and well done.
I've really enjoyed the season; sad to see that so many dvdtalkers have apparently abandoned the show.

A very good episode. The flashback footage reminded me of the St. Elsewhere episode when they took us back to the beginnings of St. Eligius.

I like seeing the old stars again (what, Eriq LaSalle agreed to direct but not appear?), but this seems like the second time this season they've created a fake history of the hospital--unless this character appeared before that I don't know of (which is possible, even though I've seen almost every episode). Seems like they should have enough to draw on over the years without making up new stuff.
