"Lil Rounds"? WTF? I don't care how good she sings, I can't support somebody named Lil Rounds.
Oh my gawdz! Simon has on cheap pants and shirt, no way can he be taken seriously now!
I like how the judges make it sound like this audition is the most important of their lives, but then somebody sings a song like complete crap (crazy hair girl singing No Doubt) and they let them go on, obviously just because they liked the first audition.

Last night was really hard to take, especially after spending most of the day listening to The Replacements reissues while working.
That 'Mats were the antithesis of everything AI stands for. AI is fun if you don't take it seriously...which is almost impossible since the "judges" contradict themselves from one contestant to the next.
I think I'm pulling for Norman Gentle this season.

I was waiting the entire show to see that hottie Anne Marie Boskovitch and she was just an afterthought in this episode. But, I'm glad she made it through.
I was so glad that annoying douche bag, Chris Tucker wanna-be Dennis got eliminated. Couldn't stand that guy.
I agree, I cannot and will not support someone named Lil Rounds. I absolutely amateurs trying to do Whitney or Mariah and I thought the praise she got was way overboard.

I just didnt think Lil Rounds was any good... I thought she was off key, and didnt get why she got so much praise. And yeah, she should go home based solely on her name.

I don't quite get how the judges could rip apart Von for doing a laughably over-the-top performance ... after falling over themselves with praise for his laughably over-the-top version of "Over the Rainbow". Sounded like he did the same thing both times to me (and I agree with the criticism this time).

New users going for the ban already... great!
It's obvious that they give leeway to those that they really liked before... but that's how it's always been. It's the people on the fence that they need to reevaluate. Seems like most of the really memorable people from the auditions made it through.
Personally, I dislike the next part of the competition: the group rounds. What does it really accomplish? There's nowhere in the official competition where you have to come up with your own choreography and sing in a group (and I doubt it's just to get them ready for the lame dance numbers they do). Some great drama always comes out of it, but what does it really prove?

Get that Von guy the fuck out of this show. He's horrible!
I love how Simon and Randy over praise bikini girl simply because she wore a bikini. About time they started having some fun with this ridiculous competition.

Loved that acapello group with Danny. Def my favorite. I kinda wish they didnt cut the Osmond kid. I really liked him. Loved the dark haired rocker guy, and Jason Castro's brother is still in it!

The two good friends, Jamar and the widower guy sounded terrific. I can see both making it far.
I love watching people fall to pieces due to stress. The group song has no other purpose except to show how well they handle pressure.

I'm still surprised the Osmond singer (don't know his first name) did not make it. That was probably the biggest surprise elimination.
Also Tatiana Nicole Del Toro is freaking annoying!

Hollywood week was worse than the initial auditions. It was ridiculous, awful and annoying on so many levels.
They needed more Seacrest.
