Re: Heroes -- "A Clear & Present Danger" -- Vol. 4: Fugitives -- 2/2/09

I'm glad they've "reset" Peter's powers. Only one at a time and he has to come into physical contact to do it.

Sylar's scene was bad ass though.

All in all I actually liked this episode and I'm looking forward to this volume. Hopefully no two episode eclipse that makes every scene look like shit this time a around.

overall, still shit, but at least this shit has bits of corn and peanuts in it.

Sylar's scene was cool.

The hangar scene at the end was cool.

how do we know its only one at a time? if I wasn't sure of my powers, I wouldn't have just assumed I could still fly and let go of the, whateverthefucktheycallthose strappy things dangling on the side of the airplane.

Just an assumption because he was kicking that guy's ass and then touched Nikki and then seemed confused and couldn't do anything any longer.

I hated this episode and it's the first episode of Heroes I didn't make it all the way through... I started facebooking on my iPod halfway through with this playing the background - and I didn't care nor did I feel that I missed much... let me know when Fuller's changes start

p.s. Claire sucks

Yeah, they still need to improve a lot.

I don't watch anything else at that time on Mondays so I'll keep watching at least for a few weeks.

It wasn't terrible, but I feel like they need to do a hard reset on everything. Things have gotten so convoluted that it's a chore trying to remember who can do what now.

8.45M viewers and 3.9 in the 18-49 demographic.

24 had 11.28M viewers in the same timeslot. 24 wins round 1.

I am hoping Peter still has the previous powers and he just hasnt figured out how to access anything but the last he was in contact with. I dont quite get the point if he can only do the last power he touched. Surely he isnt going to be in situations the rest of the season where people are knocked out and he has to run around tagging people to do what he needs to do to protect himself.

I think HRG is only doing it because they promised to keep claire safe.

Sylars scene was bad ass.

Please let peter still be an empath.

24 also has a 15 million viewer lead-in.

I hope not, because then they'll have to dumb him down again if he's a walking arsenal. So what if he only has one power, everyone else does, too. Isn't the entire point not to make them gods that can do anything? Where's the tension in that?

I agree, but Peter was already a god.

Like UncleGramps said, they just need a hard reset on everything. Give Hiro his time travel back, give Peters all his powers, get rid of Speedster, take away Mohinder's power and make Claire a helpless cheerleader again.

Wow, normally I'm defending Heroes Eps but this one was kinda boring. Maybe the hiatus has made me put the show aside in my head or something?

Well, to be fair it picked up after Sylar let loose and Claire Bare got on the plane. But other than that it was same ole shit. Lies to Sylar and this conversation:

C1 Trust me

C2 No

C1 Come one Trust me. I won't hurt you.

C2 Yes you will. So no.

C1 Ok, I'll leave you alone.

C2 Ok Bye.

C1 [BIG BETRAYAL]

C2 [Knocked out]

24 was off the air for a long time. Heroes was probably in S1 when it was actually good...

So if Peter touches Sylar does he gain all Sylar's powers? Sylar can't be the only person now with multiple abilities.

Has the acting gotten worse? The scene between Peter and Nathan was particularly awful. You think the guy is abducting people with powers and you hug him?

You know what, it makes sense. Peter has always been a complete fucking idiot so that was no different for him.

Someone mentioned they are glad Kring was writing this episode. Still glad? He is no better than any other hack. If it wasn't for Fuller coming back, I would have turned off this episode halfway through and been done with the show for good. Good job NBC, you have suckered me in for a while longer.

Re: Heroes -- "A Clear & Present Danger" -- Vol. 4: Fugitives -- 2/2/09

I thought this was a great episode. The music during the flight was weak though. That scene should have been a lot more intense than it was. I'm glad most of the characters are back to their season one selves, and all it took was a single episode with a little exposition.

It will be interesting to see where Parkman's story takes him. After two and a half seasons I think we've had enough painters that can paint the future.

I really enjoyed this episode. I hope the remainder of the season is just as good.

I thought this was a really solid episode as well. It was good to see them get back to basics. Emphasizing that these people has real lives to get back to.

Peter was a nurse!?!?! Who knew?

I hope this season is less confusing than Volume 3

I agree they should get rid of Daphne.

The African mystic wearing the Universal Studios shirt cracks me up

NBC Universal has to find another venue to promote their products

I am confused

Is Mohinder still a mutant freak or is he normal again?

He was a scientist and now he is working as a Taxi driver?

The show was better than I thought it would be. Probably won't wait so long to watch the next one. The only thing I didn't like was Peter's power reset but like some other said they might have a good reason for it.

It seems like they are trying to hard to have Claire in the show. I don't hate her but her roll is way to big. They should send her away to a 3rd world county and have her use her blood to heal people. Or maybe just to a hospital and do the same.

Thought the episode was a step in the right direction. I didn't like the reset of Peter's powers, guess you can say the serum changed them though. Syler continues to be my favorite character on the show.

He at least still has strength but it would seem the nasty skin scales may be gone.

It was mentioned that they were all trying to live "normal" lives so maybe this was Mohinder's way of going on the down low.
