Yeah, there were definite problems with this episode. The best parts were the "escaping death" scenes of the stage act, which looked like it would be a great illusionist show if it actually existed.

The worst was the idea that the buddy had these real magic cards and had been living for many many years, but only now started using the cards again. It seemed like he should've been using them all along ever since he got them from P. T. Barnum over 100 years ago.

Yeah, why don't they join Hulu too instead of using their own site.

It had more of a Friday the 13th the series/recover the cursed artifact feel to it than Supernatural, but not a bad eps overall. I do hope they get back to the main story line though. Does anyone know if this is the final season or is that still up for debate. It seems like a lot of shows are ending, I didn't know if this was one of them.

Creator Eric Kripke has said he hope the show will go to five seasons and end after that. But I don't think anything has been made official yet.

This is the last time I will attempt to watch this show streaming from the CW. They run 2 ads between breaks and they were ALL those fucking drug ads. They would even run the same ad back to back. It was the one with the kid playing basketball and he would leave his shadow behind to go smoke. Just awful.

Well CW, if I miss the next episode I'll be torrenting your show because of your obnoxious player and ads. It wouldn't even fill up my laptop screen, it windowboxed when you enlarged it.
