OK so we got a decent twist early in the episode....but it better not be cheesy as to why it is the way it is.

This is really starting to kick some ass.

Now that was an awesome escape!

Based on that fact, I'm very skeptical.

the first 4 episodes of last season were amazing and then that was that for the season.

the first 4 here were good but not amazing, that's good though, they need to save the best for later in the season.

OK, what is up with the First Husband story? In the 24 movie, the President's son seemed to be married & it was his friend was the one at the stock firm that got killed. Now for the past few nights they have been talking about the son dying. Maybe it happened between the movie & season (although it seems to not be enough time) but tonight's episode had them saying the son was working at the stock firm, not the son's friend. Also his 'wife' is now just his girlfriend.

Script changes???

Well at least those were better than last night's eps.
The FBI escape had my heart pumping like classic 24. Sean Callery's still pulling out all the stops with his score.
The rest? Not so much.

Highlight of the night: Janis engaging Chloe in a computer hacking duel. Looking forward to their eventual confrontation!

Loving crazy Renee where the ends justify the means.

Loving the minor "Once and Again" reunion by having both Jeffrey Nordling (Larry) and Ever Carradine (Erica, the blonde FBI chick).

Nice escape by Tony and Jack CTU-style.

Loving the arc that Buchanon has been on for these past 4-5 seasons.

Loving that Chloe is still the moral compass of the show.

Not loving the Prez's hubby storyline, but at least it ties into main plot in terms of the conspiracy with influence inside the US administration.

I LOL when the Prez's hatchet man basically called Larry an idiot on the phone.

I think that it is the first hubbys son and the Prez step son, and the one that was with the evil bitch in the 24 movie is the Prez's son, first hubbys step son.
I like Jacks new Jack bag.

I thought it was pretty obvious that this was something that went down between the movie and the start of Day 7. Remember, the friend at the firm who was getting in too deep brought the info to the Prez's son. I imagine after his death, Roger (the prez's son) looked into things and got caught up in the situation and had to be killed. At the end of 24: Redemption, the villains mentioned that they'd have to watch the son closely. I will say that I was surprised when this season started to hear that he was dead. Apparently, the villains watched him closely and determined that he had to die!

I don't recall them saying anything tonight about Roger working for a stock firm. He may have come upon information using other resources. I could have missed this, though.

Is this the most apocalyptic terror threat yet or what?
Multiple suitcase nukes pale in comparison to crashing thousands of airplanes and crippling/destroying the infrastructure of the nation (e.g., poisoning the water supply or whatever the hell that override/sub-circuit board device can do).

I thought tonight's was definitely better than last nights. Loved seeing Jack and Tony kicking ass and the score was top-notch.

Count me in as one more who loves what they're doing with the Renee character.
