Without TV for 2 Weeks; HELP!

Looking for some assistance. My satellite blinked out and won't get fixed for 2 weeks. Is there any where online that I can watch live TV, or maybe catch the Golden Globes? I'll still be able to catch 24 on a day delay, and most everything else I like, but will still miss some great football and the Globes.

Thanks in advance.

I feel sorry for ya. My TV went out for a month and it was a heaven sent. Granted it was during summer reruns

Definitely, check out places like hulu.com or each station's web site. Most of them offer a good selection of their shows within 24 hours after they air.

You may want to hit a local watering hole for the sports? I know that sounds bad, but a bar is the best place to find a big screen and catch a game you must see. As for the Golden Globes... can't help you there as I couldn't care less about award shows except to read the results in the paper the next day.

Since the Golden Globes is an NBC show, I'd check hulu.

Two weeks! What's up with that? Call them back and tell them 2 weeks unacceptable and if they don't come in the next 48 hrs you're going to dump them and sign up with their competitor.
2 weeks? They better refund you for the time you're missing.

This is a good point. I'm assuming you must have no other options, but if you're using Directv or Dish, I'd do exactly what Septemberbaby said. Two weeks is very unacceptable and you shouldn't be penalized by waiting or by a breach of contract if you break it. Clearly, they're breaking the contract by not giving you service, unless there's something we don't know.

One more point:
Are you 100% certain that you even need them to come and fix it?
Have you searched here for help? There's a very good chance that someone on that forum can help you fix what's wrong.
