Ironically, Marshall is from Little Canada. Him and Robin should get along pretty good.

Not little canada he's from St.Cloud a little different. But being from St.Cloud he should fit right in to a mn themed bar because all there is in St. Cloud is bars, and colleges

Canadians invented Trivial Pursuit

Funny that Marshall outed Robin as Canadian. I figured it was bound to happen.

I fast forwarded through most of the bar stuff (boring) but glad I caught Marshall's karaoke of her song lol (I still think the entire episode of BBT beat out all the episodes of Mother this season tho).

Oh, A+ to whoever cast Ted's sister. She was the hot Pink Ranger on Power Rangers Time Force.

Nobody is going to mention Barney's awesome Christmas carols? I watched those four times and dissolved into hysterics every time. I also though a couple of looks really sold a few moments - the look on Ted's face during Barney's second Christmas carol, the look Marshall gives Robin at the end of the episode when he turns out the lights in the bar.

Great episode. Also loved the ending with "Let's Go to the Mall!"

Fantastic episode, especially with Barney's Christmas carols. I loved how everyone in the Canadian bar at the end was wearing a toque. Also, loved Robin eating ice cream with a short sleeve shirt on while New Yorkers walked by bundled up in heavy coats.

I consider the entire state Little Canada. And I've been to St. Cloud - if there's a place in MN that's "Little Canada," it's St. Cloud.

Good episode, the scenes with just Ted and his sister being all mushy were pretty over-the-top mushy, didn't seem very real. But that's par for the course with Ted.

Same here... I replayed those Barney Christmas Carols over and over again laughing hysterically.

Loved the Robin rant telling off the people in the Minnesota bar... and the Canadian bar was good too. I cracked up when Marshall started singing Let's Go to the Mall.

While I wanna know who the "mother" is and what they'll do with her and her storyline and where they'll take it, this show is still top-notch IMO. Flipping through the channels this weekend I saw Ashley Williams in movies Snow and Snow 2 and said to myself, for about the 100th time, "I really liked Victoria and hope she comes back and is the mother". Seriously doubt it, though.

Agreed -- I love the not-so-obvious humor in this show. Yet another example...

Hilarious episode. I had to pause the DVR after Barney's montage of lewd Christmas carols I was laughing so hard. Also at all the inuendos they were throwing at Ted over dinner. Let's go to the mall at the end was just icing on the cake.

Erin Cahill. She was also the hyperactive host of the WDW Vacation DVD a few years ago.

As an entire episode I didn't think this one was so great. It had two exremely funny moments, and one of them is only funny if you have watched the show before. The rest of the episode was kinda flat, like a lot of them have been this season.

I am slowly finding myself just not into this show as much as I used to be. Two and half men hasn't been so great either. I thought the first episode of the season there was pretty good with the ex wife being pregnant, but they seem to have totally dropped that potential story line. I don't even know the show that is on after that, but it doesn't seem good at all. I think at this point Big Bang Theory is the best in that bunch, by far.

Decent episode, the scenes at the Minnesota bar and the ending karaoke bit were the best.
