Wearing beaters and throwing hooks is pretty ridiculous after having skin off the half of your back removed...

Yep, just 2.

Pretty obvious the Skinner and Prado were linked...just glad it happened now so it can all be fleshed out for two whole episodes.

For me the whole season has been a bit ho hum, but I did like the twist at the end. I'm actually eagerly anticipating next week's episode, which I really haven't been able to say all year.

I think he's going to make it look the the skinner did it. I can't see Dexter being able to kill Miguel in his normal fashion.

This episode was great. Really great twist.

My wife immediately ask me to download the final 2 episodes.
I told her that only the first couple of episodes of the season are leaked for some reason.

I'm not sure Miguel and the Skinner were linked from the start. I think when Miguel interviewed King with the cameras off they made a deal. Miguel is offering Freebo to King (which he can't deliver) in exchange for King taking care of Dexter. In the end, Miguel probably intends to take out King.

I like the whole cat and mouse exchange going on. This is really good stuff.

Another two seasons, I read.

I must have missed it earlier, but what is the connection between King and Freebo?

If there was only one new season confirmed I would flirt with the idea of them killing Dexter off and having him aboard next season as a 'ghost' similar to how they are using his father's character. With there being two new seasons confirmed, I can't even begin to believe that they might kill him off. Kind of takes the thunder out of what I am sure would have been a great story if I hadn't known.

The series wasn't confirmed to continue while the first and second season's were being filmed, was it? I think this is the first time they were picked up before the season wrapped up, I wonder if we will get a cliffhanger in the finale because of it.

Fantastic. The play between Miguel and Dexter has been great. Dexter's little samurai bow at the end was classic. I just love the rage we know is under his skin that no one else sees such as last week when he imagined destroying his room.

which makes me wonder if miguel's little brother was an enforcer or collector for king and that is why he was at freebo's house when dexter showed up. perhaps, miguel's involvement in his little brother's life may be a bit more than he has admitted up to this point.

This season has been absolutely amazing, IMO. Best season of Dexter yet. Can't wait for the final two.

I don't think it's quite on par with season 1, but it's infinitely better than last season. Amazing episode. I agree, the skinner only got involved with Miguel once he went in and "interviewed" him with the cameras off. This is going to be a crazy ending.

My theory is:
Spoiler:
Miguel will die, at the hands of Dexter, but he'll make it look like the Skinner. That way he gets rid of both of them, and he won't look like he's involved.

I read a funny theory about Dexter being thrown in the trunk at the end of this episode (it's just speculation, but I'll tag it anyway):

Spoiler:
It's not the Skinner that threw Dexter in the trunk, but Masuka (or someone working with him) to get him to his bachelor party.

@sb5
Spoiler:
That makes a lot of sense and if it's true I feel kind of gypted. I was/am looking forward to seeing how Dexter deals with being on the other side of the saran wrap.
