When Ted was talking about things in the apartment he walked in on, the goat clip was dated May 2009, so I guess we'll get that explanation come sweeps.

They had a goat in a previous episode. I thought that's what that was from, but I didn't notice the date you mentioned.

Great episode, maybe the best of the season.

The goat was in Ted's birthday episode last season, until in the end Ted realizes he's mixing up his birthdays and that the goat didn't show up until his next birthday when Robin was his roommate. I guess that will be next May. It's cool how they keep these things going from one season to the next (like the fact that Robin didn't become his roommate until a few episodes ago but they mentioned it last season).

Now where are the last two slaps, damnit!

I thought the episode was hilarious. I cracked up in a bunch of different scenes. The whole "slut" cough, and just how in love with the naked man idea Barney and Ted got was very funny. The poses were of course great.
