I didn't realize those were part of S12... I take it back then, only half the season sucked. I loved the first half -- especially Canada on Strike.

The biggest laugh out of last night's episode: Trey Parker's Cure-esque "Burn Down Hot Topic" song.

haha yeh I thought that was hilarious. I loved when the goth kids asked the vamps if they smoked, and they were like no thats bad for you and the goths got all pissed off.

I thought it was an okay end to a hit and miss season. Despite being an into goth stuff kid (for my generation it was more an extension of punk, didnt become as narrowed until the later 80's), I'd never really thought about how a brooding goth kid would think about all these vamp role play weenies

Good- Tonsil Trouble, Major Boobage, Over Logging

Okay- Elementary School Musical, Breast Cancer Show Ever, The Ungroundable

Weak (but had some moments)- Britney's New Look, Canada On Strike, Eek, A Penis!, Pandemic/The Startling, Super Fun Time

Worst- The China Probrem and About Last Night... (which, IMO, ranks next to ManBearPig as a series lowpoint)

Why did the vamp kids keep saying "per se" about everything? Was that a reference to something, or was it just meant to be stupid?

They were actually saying "per say" which made it funnier since they're moronic conformists.

Huh? How do you know that? Was there closed captioning or something?

That's how all the kids spell it. I know because I know.

I just took it to so how the "head vampire" really just latched onto things he thinks is cool and doesn't let it go, regardless of how many times he uses it. Incorrectly even.

It was spelled per se on my closed captioning.

Loved how they sent them to the worst place on earth: Scottsdale.

I am so thankfull for this episode. My daughter is 13 and getting completely into vampires. She actually had me buy the tickets to Twighlight 3 days early because she swore they would be sold out HOURS before showtime (this theater never sells out, not even a Dark Knight or Star Wars class movie). I knew she would be wanting to hit Hot Topic soon. I made her sit down and watch this episode and I think I may have prevented her from becoming a douche.

Great episode that hit well for me, after dating a goth girl. If I didnt know better I would think she wrote the episode.

This is a on a million levels. So you think a South Park episode saved your daughter when meanwhile you acquiesced to buying her advanced tickets to a movie you believe contribute to making her a "douche"? Brilliant plan.

And this is why I was mostly disappointed with this season. I guess I've come to expect them to attack more important current events instead of a lame new teenage Vampire movie or High School Musical. I mean sure they had an election episode, but couldn't they have gotten a little more topical with the economy in the toilet, etc.?

He was terrific, but didn't care for the Goth vs. Vamps war.

And why were there two "lets rip on the latest high school trend" episodes? Besides, from what I understand, High School Musical is a middle school trend.

Is their target audience really that young?

The songs were all great although I would call them Joy Division-esque

Maybe they had to lay off everyone?

I didn't get the episode. Then our freinds came over last night, and one has 2 teen daughters, and i was introduced intp what Twilight was.

Then today at the mall, I saw all the Twilight stuff in Hot Topic, and it all came together!
