Let's hope Ms. Knowles leaves her alter ego (Sasha Fierce) home. I'm just glad that she's not pulling a Garth Brooks/Chris Gaines double-duty stunt.

Paul Rudd should be good.

Next week is going to be interesting... Tim McGraw (Four Christmases) is hosting.

09/13/08 - H: Michael Phelps - MG: Lil Wayne
09/20/08 - H: James Franco - MG: Kings of Leon

10/04/08 - H: Anne Hatahway - MG: The Killers
10/18/08 - H: Josh Brolin - MG: Adele

11/01-08 - H: Ben Affleck - MG: David Cook

Tim McGraw and Ludacris next week is going to be painful.

Why couldn't they get Vince Vaughn from Four Christmases to host or Reese Witherspoon?

Anyone think Casey Wilson should become the co-host with Seth Meyers for weekend update?

She has not done anything remarkable in her sketches so maybe this could boost her profile?

Seth Meyers going solo is not going to be a pretty thing to watch.

I predict Sasha Fierce and Beyonce will be in da house tonight if she performs the first 2 singles.

I'm surprised Lorne didn't hire more black castmembers with the Obamas and all. Kenan can only do so much.

I thought so too right up until the point where they revealed the painting in the auction house. Then I was rolling. Then again, I thought the Single Ladies video sketch was awesome, so what the hell do I know.

And they will never stop taking drugs at SNL!

With all the fires here in CA I'm wondering if we'll even get an SNL tonight. Oh well, it's just a tv show and nowhere near as important as people being evacuated and losing their homes.

EDIT: We got it.

Ditto. Apparently, man-on-man kissing has replaced the fart as a cheap laugh - getter. It appears the election heat has cooled off faster than I expected.

The "Single Ladies" video shoot was the highlight of the episode. Timberlake is better then the most of the current cast.

Yeah, really, you know how far SNL has fallen when you're happy to see Justin Timberlake show up. He's like the only person who's been consistently funny on the show in about twelve years.

I did like the Snagglepuss/Great Gazoo thing, though.

I gave up after Weekend Update. Snagglepuss was okay but I don't think I missed anything great.

The Single Ladies video sketch was great. I thought that JT was staring at Beyonce ass during the dancing segment (not that I blame him).

So we don't get any Obama sketches but we get Biden ones?

Highlight of the show was Justin Timberlake on Weekend Update.

Great thing they hired those new cast members and made a huge deal about it -- and then gave them hardly any lines, and nothing funny to do.
