Hope they do a Mad Men parody. That new girl wouldn't even need to stuff her shirt to play Joan.

Would love to see his girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, make an appearance.

If Maya comes back do you think we'll get a new Bronx Beat?

Who the fuck is John Hamm? Seriously, has SNL fallen so far?

Not the most reliable source, but:

Amy Poehler Pops -- Won't Make "SNL"
Posted Oct 25th 2008 7:55PM by TMZ Staff

Sources tell TMZ Amy Poehler has been in labor all day and just a had a baby boy.

Obviously, Amy will not perform on "Saturday Night Live" tonight.

We're told Seth Myers will do the Weekend Update by his lonesome, and there's no word on whether her "Bronx Beat" skit with returning cast member Maya Rudolph -- who will also be playing Michelle Obama tonight -- has been totally scrapped or not.

He's the star of one of the most-talked about shows on television right now. You know, the one that just won the best-drama Emmy.

In its heyday, "SNL" had hosts who were talented up-and-comers, the kind of people who were on the cusp of making it big. Now, yeah, the show usually relies on talentless celebutards.

"SNL" hasn't fallen. The show finally got a decent host, even if the great PopcornTreeCt doesn't know who he is.

I did look it up afterwards. It kinda reminds me of those jokes they used to make about The Shield.

"Did you watch The Shield last night?"
"No, I've heard it gets great reviews"
"Yeah, I've never seen it"

And despite the host that 90% of America has never heard of, SNL has fallen quite a bit since even last season.

You people who aren't watching Mad Men are missing the best show on TV. Seriously, it is that good!

Just a note: NBC is replaying all three "SNL - Weekend Update Thursday" specials back to back starting at 9:30/8:30c.

I remember when David Duchovny first hosted SNL during the second season of the X-Files and they made fun of how nobody knew who he was.

I'm watching mainly to see how John Hamm does. I'm not expecting much since SNL's quality has dropped quite a bit over the years, and John Hamm (while great in Mad Men) may not work well with comedy - but I could be suprised.

Seriously, if you haven't watched Mad Men - do yourself a favor and get caught up. Great drama that doesn't rely on huge events and cheap ploys to be interesting.

David Alan Grier should host again. He fit in perfectly with the cast. I wouldn't mind seeing Duchovny host again either.

I don't know much of John Hamm either, but I think he had a great delivery just now in the monologue.

Wouldn't hurt to promote Chocolate News on Comedy Central.

Lorne please hire some black people.

Kenan doesn't count.

I wonder how much AMC paid for this 90 minute Mad Men commercial.

I like how Coldplay has an actual bell on stage with them. Although the new marching band uniform with the arm bands look a little strange.

no kidding, don't know why I tuned in for this, it's all just advertising for Mad Men, and Coldplay was just silly.

Did like the skit where that guy was drumming on bald peoples heads though.
