Pushing Daisies seems like it would be an expensive show to produce and at 5-6mil viewers, I don't see how it could be renewed. I have my fingers crossed that it will make it.

but at least, 'Life on Mars' might have a resolute ending, unlike most series that networks just run into the ground with ad nauseum seasons.

'Life on Mars' is my favourite new show, it should have at least one more season. The cast is great and I like the fact that's the overall storyline is an ongoing mystery.

I'm worried about Life and Pushing Daisies. Their chances are not good at all.

NBC knew what would happen when they slapped Life on Fridays after bouncing people around on Mondays early on. They probably killed it themselves. Hope it survives.

Although I do feel a little better about Life when I see that NBC has already picked up Knight Rider for the full year.

Yeah, I'm not surprised. That was Moonlight's spot and fans were boycotting the Ex-List.

I do wish they'd cancel Eli Stone too. Dirty Sexy Money is in trouble.

Is it any good? I just stepped up my TiVo HD with a DVR Expander so I can probably retain it without a problem until the winter repeats to catch up on it entirely. But I'm always gun shy about investing in a Friday night show (hello? Moonlight?) that may not make it. Oh well, I'll keep recording it until I learn otherwise I guess.

I don't see how ABC can blame the DSM ratings on that show. It's clear Wednesdays for the network just aren't working but that DSM is retaining what little audience Private Practice serves it pretty darn well.

The Wednesday night lineup on ABC is hurting is because all those shows weren't brought back after the WGA strike last year and were off the air for 9+ months. If they were brought back in April with 3-5 more new episodes, then I don't think they would be hurting as bad as they are now.

WHY on earth would wish for them to cancel a BRILLIANT show like Eli Stone? Cancelling a Tuesday 10PM show wouldn't save your Wednesday 10PM show. It all comes down to ratings and the request above seems really petty.

Man I just noticed that the ONLY time I watch ABC is for LOST. For the most part ABC shows are all the same and boring as hell. The whole network has been devoted to cater to women in the 40+ age group. Well I guess they will have college football.....

Agreed. However, they could technically wrap the show up this season. The original show only had 16 episodes! Honestly, I wouldn't mind a one season show if it were to come to that. We need more shows with predetermined "end points" instead of blathering on season after season until it finally gets cancelled without a proper, planned resolution.

Another update.

The CW's Sunday night lineup is officially DOA. Valentine and Easy Money are axed.

Kath and Kim on NBC gets a full season.
