Where'd you see that? I believe you, but I want to show someone I know a link to piss them off.

Kath and Kim on NBC gets a full season.
Shame I liked Valentine. I hope they air the remaining episodes.

And no shock on Kath and Kim since its not like NBC has anything else to air.

I usually dont watch new shows until I know they're coming back, been burnt on too many shows: Invasion, Threshold, Jericho etc etc.

Not shocked at all The CW's Sunday lineup was a disaster. Honestly, they would have been better off saving the $$$$ and continue to air repeats of their programs from the week.

Update folks!!

Life got picked up for a full season!!

http://reporter.blogs.com/live_feed/

Quote:

NBC has given a full season order to detective drama "Life."

Sources say the network has ordered the back nine episodes from Universal Media Studios.

The pickup comes despite a modest performance from "Life" this week in the show's new Wednesday night slot -- where it earned a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 and ranked fourth place in the 9 p.m. hour. "Life" did manage to outperform its recent Friday night average, however, and picks up plenty of viewers from time-shifted DVR viewing.

The full season order is the latest twist in the police drama's odd network narrative: "Life" launched during the fall of last year ... was shut down from the writers strike ... returned this fall to get a "Heroes" welcome on Monday nights at 10 p.m. airing for two weeks after the action-drama series in what's considered NBC's strongest slot ... then NBC shifted to show to Fridays at 10 p.m., a viewership dead zone where the show's ratings crashed ... then swapped "Life" with the underperforming "Lipstick Jungle," where it is now the tentpole 9 p.m. drama in a new Wednesday crime block.

Awesome news. Hopefully they'll keep it planted on Wednesdays instead of on Fridays.

Superb!!! Love it, I think the economy will help keep the show afloat, and hopefully it will pick up more viewers.

Great news!

I usually watch live but this time I dvr'd it because of all the news. I was wiped out. Glad to see some shows still get a fighting chance.

Picked up for a full season:

Fringe
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Knight Rider
Private Practice
90210
Chuck
The Mentalist
Kath and Kim
Life

Renewed:

Dexter (2 more seasons)
Mad Men (expected to get 3rd season)
Sons of Anarchy
Raising the Bar
Burn Notice
Psych
Saving Grace
In Plain Sight
Nip/Tuck: Renewed for 1 more season (19 episodes) which will be split over the next 2 1/2 years. Season 5 still has 8 more episodes to air in 2009.
Damages: Renewed though season 3

In Limbo----Still at 13 episodes:

Crusoe
Life on Mars
Eleventh Hour
My Own Worst Enemy
Eli Stone (although more scripts were ordered)
Priviledged (more scripts were ordered)
Pushing Daisies
Dirty Sexy Money
Lipstick Jungle
Worst Week
Gary Unmarried

Cancelled:
The Ex-List
Valentine
Easy Money
Do Not Disturb
So the "picked up for full season" shows are good to go for the rest of this season and all of next season? Is that what that means?

The only one I care about is Terminator and if that's true then I'm definitely happy. Seems like every week there was talk in the Terminator thread about it being cancelled and people seemed so sure that it wouldn't make it. I was always hoping they were wrong and it looks like they were.

Naw, I'm pretty sure it just means they are picked up for the rest of this season. Next year is up in the air still.

Whoopdido:
This only means these shows are picked up for a full 22 episode season for the 2008-09 season. As with every TV season, the following season is decided during May at the up fronts. Shows are renewed year to year.

Oh...thanks for the clarification. At least I'll get to see the rest of the season, but I suppose I won't get my hopes up for season 3 then.

Good news. The move to Wednesdays was likely its last chance. Since it improved, maybe it will continue to grow. DON'T MOVE IT AGAIN, PLEASE!

ABC's midseason schedule

Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money are indeed not on the list.
