NBC pulls 40-Year-Old Virgin?

The online schedule and my Comcast guide both said NBC was showing 40-Year-Old Virgin tonight, but Three Amigos was on instead. Anyone see otherwise or know what happened?

Why do I have a feeling some religious kooks in my area didn't want it shown or something.

Or at least not a movie about trying to lose it.

Well what the hell? I even triple-checked the guide to make sure I was on NBC. Not that I was going to watch the movie anyway, but I just could not understand why I was seeing Dusty, Lucky and little Ned Nederlander on my screen.

Unless the Detroit affiliate lost their copy, I can't think of any other reason.

i do wonder sometimes whats the point of playing certain movies on tv, even the so called "uncut directors cut" version on USA still muted the swearing and blurred the nudity. Were entire scene's deleted, or was it mainly changing lines?

prob due to complaints or they didnt' want to air it for content reasons. Remeber about a year ago when many stations didnt want to air Saving Private Ryan, since it would be un edited, even though it had aired on ABC before?

Did they also broadcast Three Amigos on the HD feed? I'll be plenty pissed if I missed checking that out.
