Daytripper

OK, I'm a huge huge fan of the original British series, and I actually thought the US premiere was quite funny, but tonight's show was absolutely dreadful. What is going on!? Can't blame the directing (is David Schwimmer still doing the studio segments?), the writing is pretty terrible too. The only part I laughed out loud over tonight was the bitty skit when the mother gave milk for the relative's cereal. Stupid, yes. But still funny. But the timing and pacing for all of the other skits are so off. A real shame.
