Prison Break -- "Five the Hard Way" -- 10/6/08

Prison Break S4

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

While Linc, Sara, Sucre and Roland track down the fifth card in Las Vegas, Michael and Bellick are unavoidably detained in L.A. by a gun-wielding T-Bag, who needs Michael to decipher the bird book. T-Bag, as it happens, is doing the bidding of Gretchen, who made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Meanwhile, Wyatt shows up at Don Self's home; and Sara learns something disturbing about Michael. Scuderi: Jude Ciccolella.

"The last time a pretty little philly like yourself knocked me senseless and tied me to a chair....I had to pay for it

Get me Carrot top's autograph

Def the most upbeat and comedic episode of prison break yet.

Nice to see Mike from '24' again.

Great episode, this season is moving along great. best season since the first in my opinion.

Easily one of the most entertaining seasons of the show and probably right up there with Season 1... even though some of it is ridiculous, nothing gets the adrenaline going like Prison Break. I'm so glad that this show is back to being one that I am actually looking forward to. Can't wait for the next episode...in 2 weeks though

So few comments...I hope this isn't a barometer of the ratings.

Loved it. I liked Self's play with The General, but I am dying to see Mahone take down the assassin.

Sucre was great.

The asian dude wasn't smart enough to realize there are cameras in casinos in Vegas, so sitting there fiddling with a gadget at a slot machine, esp. when you've been banned for life, probably wasn't a good idea? But I guess it was necessary to mix things up for next time, w/no device, so I'm cool with that.

This season of PB is so much more entertaining than Heroes, and PB is actually higher in my priority viewing for Mondays, something that was unexpected before the season started for me.

Right, get ready for some interruptions on Fox due to the baseball playoffs and the World Series this month.

very entertaining and now we have basically 4 different parties, the main team, the company, tbag and gretchen. It's like a fatal four way !

Roland is a total idiot

i hope Sucre really did bang the wife !

This show is great. Of the three shows I watch on Mondays, this is my first choice.

So funny how Linc hasn't even mentioned his son.

Great episode. With so many twist and turns, I would've had to take a nap if it didn't end when it did, just to rest!

Glad to see the device gone, as that will add more suspense without it. Maybe Asian dude has an addiction, with how he couldn't resist and was fidgeting.

You may be happy to know that Stephen King agrees, saying in the 10/10 Entertainment Weekly that he "loves Prison Break madly, deeply, truly."

It certainly is about as good as it could get after last season's annoying progression. Glad I caught up on Blu-ray before this season started because it is actually pretty damn exciting.

You could almost make a drink game out of the Asian dude being told to shut up each episode.

Some good news regarding Prison Break from Ausiello's column:

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/10/...siello-sp.html

Question: Do you have any information regarding Prison Break's future? Is there any hope of getting all 22 episodes this season? -- Adry
Ausiello: Well, there is now. Not so much two weeks ago, when Fox told producer Twentieth Television that they only needed 16 episodes this season instead of the originally-agreed-upon 22. (Quick sidebar: Ironic that the network would make such a request this season when the show's actually good. Where were they last season when it sucked!) Anyway, Twentieth's response to Fox went something like this: "You asked for 22, you're getting 22!" So, to answer your question, Adry, yes, there will be 22 Prison Breaks this season.

Thank the Lord!!! This season has been way too good to cut short!!

This show has definitely gotten its mojo back - everything but the annoying Asian dude and the color by numbers hit man are right on point this season. Glad to hear it's getting a full run.

We have the 90210 hitman, we have Gretchen, we have T-Bag, what about the Triad/Yakuza guy also after Sylla ?

That is a good amount of bad guys for our group to deal with

This show is a lot of fun, and certainly much better this season than last.

I was waiting for Mahone to take the gun from T-bag while he was trying to herd everyone into the van. Instead he ran away.

Great episode. It sucks the big one pb wont be on tonight. They really need to make two fox stations. One for when theres a game on and the other can air the regular programs. They already have that for some digital over the air stations. But not Fox yet.

And Gretchen can Torture me any day
