Ive never paid attention to Prison Break numbers, so how bad is this? #2 in its time slot cant be all bad

That's par for the course of Prison Break, so I'm sure Fox is satisfied with those numbers, number 1 in the key demo.

#2 in the 18-49 demographic is fine for Prison Break. FOX will be satisfied with that, plus it's cheaper to produce this season since they are filming in LA. 6.48M overall sucks though considering Season 2 had over 9M per week.

Good job for OTH and GG. This may not be the final year for CW after all...guess we'll know tomorrow after 90210 premieres. I'm betting a 4.5 ratings for it.

How do repeats work? CW is repeating it Thursday...do they add those up for one final week total or count them seperately?

I believe they are counted separately.

Yeah I too am pleased to see OTH and GG do well week 1.

If 90210 gets 3.5-4.5M viewers, it will definitely bea hit considering all the pub it's getting.

Prison Break was routinely in the 8 millions last year. I think it slipped at the end to the 7's.

Prison Break seems on par with other seasons, no? I never believed it was a "smash hit" but still had a following.

It was never a "Smash" hit, but it has a solid following especially woman from what I heard. The ratings have always been between 7-9M viewers. It indeed started slipping towards the end of last season.

If that's the case, hopefully Prison Break picks up in the coming weeks given the solid opening.

Since we are all at the edge of our seats wondering how 90210 did, let me begin by telling everyone at the CW to relax. It's good; very good, actually. 90210 debuted with a 3.9 rating/6 share from 8-10 p.m., building from the year-ago encore combination of Gilmore Girls and Beauty and the Geek by a mammoth 255 percent. Take a look at the half-hour breakdown (and notice that the second hour only dipped by seven percent in the overnights).
90210 (CW)
8:00 p.m.: 4.2/ 7 (#3)
8:30 p.m.: 4.0/ 6 (#3)
9:00 p.m.: 3.8/ 6 (#4)
9:30 p.m.: 3.7/ 6 (#4)
Since 90210 opened 34 percent higher than Gossip Girl did in the overnights just one day earlier, you can expect ample tune-in from the target young female audience. Yes, I am aware of the importance of this demographic.
