Good numbers for Supernatural and Smallville. According to this article, they are up from last season and Supernatural is it's highest since premiering on the CW.

Flashpoint ended the season on a really high note. Looking forward to seeing it again next summer.

Yeah, after seeing last nights 2 hour episode, I think the magic is long gone.

I think Christian Slater's new show is going to tank big time at the 10pm timeslot in 2 weeks. Boston Legal will probably take the #2 slot.

Life will be at 10pm next week. I think there is a good chance it also finishes 3rd.

I think Terminator & Prison Break will pretty much remain in 4th place in their respective timeslots.

Chuck will probably get between 7-8M viewers next week at the 8pm timeslot.

How many shows have dropped that hard in viewership?

Going from being a big season 1 hit to losing all those fans during season 2 because of a shift in quality and the writer's strike, to losing even more in season 3? Generally I'd think they'd be able to hold onto their audience for at least 2-3 full seasons before they all jumped ship.

What other shows have had the same thing happen?

I know Lost's ratings are down (along with most shows on television) but Lost also gets a lot of people who watch the show on DVD, and several million people watch it on ABC.com as well. I remember reading that the number was well over 3 million. Maybe that was ABC.com and iTunes combined.

^ lol, I'll be interested to see how much it falls next week.

Also, excellent numbers for NCIS, Criminal Minds and CSI: NY (especially NCIS, though).

It doesn't look like "Privileged" is going to survive even a season with such low ratings. Too bad, it's entertaining.

If the Wednesday comedy line-up on CBS continues to tank, I hope that they will put Old Christine back on Mondays, where it had done well in the spring and summer. It is a shame to see that the audience for CBS procedurals is so much bigger than for most of their comedies.

NBC looks like its going to have one lousy season.

NCIS is beating House? Really? I've never watched the show but it just looks like another CSI. That's crazy.

The Mentalist will drop next week putting House back up in the lead (besides Dancing with the Stars).

Ouch for almost all of the CBS Comedies and Knight Rider...damn.

I have all 3 episodes of Priveldged on my DVR...dunno if I should bother now.

Caught about 20 seconds of "Do Not Disturb" and man, it was unfunny! The canned audience laughter was beyond obvious.

Wouldn't surprise me. Nothing has worked for NBC in that timeslot. Anyone remember "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip?"

Dancing isn't a Wednesday fixture so the 8 pm competitors can breathe easier next week.

You're lucky! I caught the first episode and that is 30 minutes of my time that I will never get back and Jerry O'Connell is usually a funny guy. They should have never cancelled Carpoolers. Now that was funny!

Without American Idol as a lead-in, House normally gets between 12-14M viewers a week.

NCIS has a huge fanbase. It's Tuesday's highest rated scripted show.

I think it's pretty much locked for 3rd place in that timeslot. There is no way it's beating Dirty Sexy Money for 2nd place.

Awful numbers for Priviledged!! I too think it's a better show than 90210. It's DOA if it doesn't get back to close to 3M viewers.

I think the CW jumped the gun ordering a full season of 90210. It's lost almost 2M viewers since the series debut. One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl are still doing very well with the massive competition on Monday.

And the 2008-09 TV season has its first cancellation. So long, Jerry O'Connell.
