Celebrity Rehab Season 2

From Wiki:

Season 2 of Celebrity Rehab will premiere in October. In addition to a new cast of recovering addicts, actor and former addict Gary Busey, who to date had been sober for 13 years, will appear as the cast's sobriety coach.[2][3]

Rodney King, taxi driver whose famously videotaped 1991 beating at the hands of Los Angeles police officers sparked a racial controversy, and led to the L.A. Riots.
Nikki McKibbin, singer and former American Idol contestant.
Steven Adler, former drummer for Guns N' Roses.
Tawny Kitaen, actress.
Gary Dourdan, actor, known for portraying Warrick Brown on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Jeff Conaway, actor, returning from season 1 to recover from numerous back surgeries.[2]
Sean Stewart, reality TV star and son of singer Rod Stewart.[3]
I saw some of the first season. Fascinating little train wreck. With Conaway returning and some of these new people, it should make for another neck twister.

I have to watch it just for the interaction of Busey and Conaway.

Wow. How quickly Gary Douridan has fallen. This will be worth it just to see Gary Busey.

Every time I hear "Gary Busey" I'm instantly intrigued in something.

Off-topic, but does anyone think Spencer Pratt is like a sinister, annoying version of Busey?

This was an entertaining train wreck last season even if they did severely struggle to pad it out to as many episodes as it was. So Tawny Kitaen? What's up with that? Looks like The Surreal Life is helping to keep Dr. Drew's show in business.

Rodney King is a celebrity? Really!?! (with Seth and Amy) Come on...

Gary Dourdan really seems to have gone down fast. I always liked him in CSI and i think the only movie that i really recall with him in was Alien Resurrection (which i aso liked). I don't think this will help his career at all and he should have stayed far away from this.

As for Mr. Busey....now this is a must-see just for the large of tooth nutbag. He just looks so scary these days with the face due to the cancer i think he had. That added to his personality means that this will be pure gold.

And as for Jeff Conaway, well i actually feel sorry for the guy. He really is a total addict who just can't stop. It will be interesting to see him and Busey butt heads. Its a shame we don't get another Baldwin brother onboard to try and get their end away with one of the female attendees.

Can't wait. I loved the first season. Maybe they'll have an update on the people from the first season.

Gary Busey giving people advice

At first I wasn't going to watch, but the addition of Busey may make this one of the best shows on TV.

I remember catching some of season 1 during one of those mini marathons they have on VH1. I then watched an episode of "The Moment of Truth"... I never felt more ashamed to be an American.

I'm typing this as I'm setting my DVR.

I saw that guy doing that on Celebrity Fit Club. He's one of the craziest and strangest whackjobs I've ever seen.

Both CBS and VH1 are owned by Viacom, right? Maybe one of the conditions to Dourdan getting his CSI job back is to be a part of CR. Otherwise, I don't see why he would subject himself to this kind of treatment. He should have enough money to take care of this in a top-notch facility. Emphasis being on SHOULD, of course.

Perhaps he was still tweaking when he agreed to do it....

Drew has said several times on Loveline that most of these people are in it solely for the money (they get paid for it) but that their motivations usually change as things progress.

What happened with the end of the first season? I caught a few episodes while nothing else I wanted to watch was on.... who did well? who left/got kicked out?

I saw a Alter Bridge video on VH1 and they had scenes from this show playing in the video which was weird.
