It's alright. She, on the other hand, looks absolutely stunning.
Wow, that's a hot mannequin.
Now, who's this "Marie Digby" chick? Pics?

Good to see the office get back to being funny. Last week's ep was just a way for them to Write Jan off the show for next season I believe. That was a terribly uncomfortable episode last week and pretty light on the funny

I'm one who likes the Pam/Jim relationship stuff. The scene about him saying he was going to ask her to marry him coupled with the fake-out at the end was great.

I do feel like the show is "off" a bit, but it's still pretty damn enjoyable.

Great episode. The coffee shop date harkened back to the UK Christmas special. Great fake-out by Jim at the end.

Michael: Just put my order together and have it ready for pick-up.
"Wendy:" It's ready now.

Finally got to watch the episode since the DFW area had weather coverage all night.

Hilarious episode. Now this was a completely different type of funny as compared to last week's episode. I'm curious to see who the writers were on each one.

I'm also happy to see Jim and Pam together and happy.

Like others have said, if you hate the show so much anymore, why bother wasting your time? Find something else that you ENJOY!

And as someone else said, The Office isn't a great show just because it's funny (which last nights was), but simply because all the characters seem very real thanks to great acting and great storylines. Even if I don't laugh, I can still smile at this show.

And now back to the whiners...

I thought it was a great episode, but I also enjoyed last week's, so I guess I'm not a hater.

I will confess that these last 2 episodes have had just as much awkwardness as humor, but that's The Office at its best. Season 2 which is regarded by most as the show's finest hour was often like this.

It's not like dude bought an engagement ring a week after meeting her. He'd been pining over her for years before they ever started dating. He knew he wanted to marry her long before that.

There are always as many that criticize a show as praise it and we discuss both the strengths and weaknesses of each episode.

If all you want are fanbois forming a sycophantic circle jerk, then maybe a forum isn't the best place for you.

I must be missing the discussion on the strengths and weaknesses. All I see are some who liked it, some who didn't and people who watch a show every week they obviously don't like at all.

Great episode. It's nice to have Creed back in my life on a weekly basis.

I don't know why I found it so funny, but I loved the fact that Michael ordered a caramel hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint at the coffeeshop.

And, not singling out any particular posters, but I hope those that criticize Michael for being so over-the-top aren't the same ones who are knocking Pam and Jim's relationship for being too realistic.

But more to the point, I would be annoyed if they use the progression of the Jim/Pam relationship as oh-so-predictable significant promotional episodes.
Leaving it unresolved as an open-ended source of new plot developments is the predictable pablum, bro. Having them get together and stay together would be the unusual thing, but it would be a nice counterpoint to Michael and Jan's spiraling insanity, which will presumably continue unless Jan goes to the spin-off.

I liked the exchange with Phyllis - (paraphrasing)

Michael: Would she fit in a medium sized rowboat?
Phyllis: What are you asking?
Michael: I don't think I can be much more clear than that.

I was thinking the same thing. The set-up and David/Michael reaction were virtually identical. Except David said, "for fuck's sake," when he saw the woman. Not sure that would have flown on NBC.

For some reason, I was pretty surprised and just slightly saddened when Kevin told Michael that Stacey broke up with him.

The date with Pam's landlady reminded me of David Brent's date in this clip..

Yeah, it was cool to see an echo of the BBC show. I can't remember the last time that happened. Anyone?

Michael and Dwight singing American Pie, butchering it for the most part, but referencing the lady in the chair ad, and why she had to die, etc.

Doesn't sound as funny when I describe it. Hmmm.

Last night's was written by B.J. Novak.

It's strange, but the reaction to the relatively mild criticism of the show (with the exception of cungar's post) makes me wonder if this forum isn't populated with menstruating tweenage girls.

I really thought that Michael was going to ask Kevin if he could hone in on that Stacy action.

Describing it is funnier that it actually was.
