If you still have it on your DVR, you should rewind it to the part where Jason and Erik were sitting among the tribe and all the naked women, you can clearly see they're sporting wood.

Did Jason try to use his as an Immunity Idol?

I can't believe they could last 6.5 hours with one hand above your head.

That's incredible stamina. Your shoulder would give out..

Eliza didn't look too bad. She pretty much knew it was fake, but had to try it anyway just to be sure.

But the women are really starting to pile up now.. a pretty interesting season.

That was a great Blind Side, from the camera work, to the reactions to the name reveals.

Can't wait for this show to be in HD
I've also been impressed by how well Cirie has played the game this season, acting when it's in her self-interest and getting her mouth shut when it isn't. She not my favorite person, but I don't have to like her to hope she wins. She's playing the best game so far.

Ozzy should have known that as soon as he felt safe, the immunity idol still made him a big target, and that someone was aiming for his back. Especially since he was planning to do the same to Jason.

That was one of the best, if not the best, blindsides in Survivor history. I wasn't digging on Ozzie too much this season. His attitude was different than the first time he was on, which was exemplified when he dropped out of the challenge last night. That was very un-Ozzie like. The finger-crossing thing was ridiculous. To me there was something different about the group as a whole making a promise to Jason as compared to the usual individual assurances that are often broken.

I agree with the one poster who said there is so much focus on the favorites that it's hard to know who the fans are. I still don't think I know all their names and that has never been the case in any previous season by the time it has reached this point.

When Jeff started reading the votes I thought for sure they had backed out of the plan to oust Ozzie. That's what usually happens. But they actually had the smarts to go through with it this time.

Wow. So much to reply to here. I hope I can remember it all.

This is Survivor. There will always be invisible contestants who make it far with very few confessionals or tribe screentime. Jenn in the Palau season is a good example. Hell, Danni won Guatemala and she was probably more invisible than Vecepia!

At this point, the only two we haven't seen much are Natalie (with the worst edit) and Alexis (who seems to be getting more airtime lately). Erik is a pretty memorable Survivor character at this point. Very likable. Jason is also memorable but more for being one of the dumber contestants on the show.

Why give hints as to who the winner is? Well, why not? Survivor has never been "play as you go" like Big Brother. That show is real time, so those featured are those in the middle of the drama from week to week. You're more likely to end up with a "Who?" winner that way (Drew, Lisa, Maggie). Survivor editing has been about crafting a storyline since Season 1.

As for the Ozzy outrage/Cirie hatred, I find it funny. First off, Cirie DID NOT play this way her first time around. She took much more of a backseat and followed her tribe in ousting the opposing tribe. If anything, she changed her gameplay this time around, taking a more proactive role to avoid the cries of "Undeserving!". The response? "It's not fun to watch her stir the pot just for the sake of stirring it."

Sorry. I don't agree. I think she does want to win the million. I think taking out Ozzy had a lot to do with him having an immunity idol and her not wanting one in play. If you recall, Cirie went at 4 because she couldn't vote with Aras and Danielle for Terry, who had a hidden idol. I imagine she'd want to get rid of a non-threat like Chet if he had found it.

As for the idea that she's just not fun to watch, I disagree there too. Cirie makes me laugh more on any given episode than Ozzy did in his entire run (both times). Sure, he's hot and great to watch in challenges, but he wasn't winning any personality contests. Cirie actually has funny commentary on the island proceedings.

I agree with the poster who said the reaction to this move would have been different had it been Yau Man's idea. I don't even like Parvati at all, but I give her credit for working with Cirie to remove a threat. This argument is a can of worms though.

Cirie is lazy and smug. But she is playing a smart game. I can admit that and still not like her. I think SHE thinks she's funnier than she really is.

Parvati, Parvati, Parvati!!!

Doesn't she know that now she'll never get James, Amanda, and Ozzy's to vote for her, IF she gets in the final three?

SHE BETRAYED THEM!

Did you think Ozzy was at all smug?

Never say never. Jury members surprise us all the time. James has already proven he's willing to vote for a player who betrayed him. Who knows what Amanda and Ozzy will do since they've never been on a jury.

Yes in some ways. He was very confident is his alliance and his own physical ability. But at least he could back up his attitude with some performance. Cirie seems to just sit back and subtly ridicule people behind their backs. I get the feeling Ozzy isn't as arrogant and Cirie would have you believe. Cirie probably percieved Ozzy as egotistical and built him up in her own mind that way due to her own shortcomings in the areas where Ozzy excelled.

Cirie's "funny" confessionals (whether you think they're funny or not) always seem like they're all in good fun. Sure, she's had her moments of being insensitive toward the fans, but Amanda and Ozzy were right there with her. At that point, who's to say she isn't just going along with what the "cool kids" say. Ami showed compassion and look where that got her.

Pretty sure Ozzy was just as arrogant as not only Cirie, but the editors of the show would have us believe. Damning Ami for even considering an alternative strategy (when she was already at the bottom of his totem pole), laughing at Eliza last week, making fun of Jason this week, etc.

Who does Ozzy like exactly? Erik, who worships him. Alexis, who snuggles with him and tells him his adventures are awesome. Amanda, who pleasures him.

By the way, Cirie does back up her attitude with performance. She steps up when she needs to in order to protect herself. She intervened when Chet was the original target to make sure Joel went first, leaving two weaker fans in front of her as targets before the merge. Brilliant move.

She voted Ozzy out last night and she's still there. Survivor has never been about being the greatest in challenges and it never will be. Cirie contributed during reward and immunity challenges by solving puzzles and doing what was in her power to help. Don't any of you people have mothers? If they made it on the show, would you root against them in favor of the strong, good looking alpha male who smoked them in challenges?

I'm not getting into the physical vs social strategy with you. You know as well as I do that debate has been done to death. I give Cirie credit for making some bold moves. At least she's not just "along for the ride" as she seemed to be on her prior season. I was simply pointing out that her comments you find funny come across to me as a bit smug. Seems to be her way and (IMO) indicative of her own insecurity. Just an opinion.

Cirie reminds me of Todd from last season, making all the right moves. Getting rid of people when the time was right, remember everyone hated Todd but he won. It's how you play the game not if your a good guy or gal that wins it for you.

Perfect even down to how the votes were read out.
Yeah, the producers / Jeff really spaced out the votes perfectly. But I kind of had an idea, when Cirie got that stupid little smile on her face when Ozzie didn't use the immunity idol.

I'm glad these players finally took a big chance to get a big threat out of the way instead of playing it safe and voting out Jason. And before Ozzie's intentional going back on his word, I wanted him to win it all, because he is the best Survivor.

Well, there is a BIG difference between lying to someone's face and actually giving them your word with the intention of never keeping it.

And yes, this is only a game, but I believe it's a reflection of the person's integrity and what they will do when it comes to money.

surprised you're the only one to mention this. As i was watching, i turned to my wife and said the exact same thing. what did the rest of the tribe have to lose by guaranteeing they wouldn't vote him out? Even if they go back on their word and vote him out, they're not losing a jury vote, as he has to vote for SOMEONE in the final, and whoever was in the final would all have gone back on their word and be equal in his eyes.

it worked out for Jason, just because ozzy was such a big threat, but what a dumb, dumb move.

and yes, the finger crossing was ridiculous and childish. just go back on your word - it's survivor. no need to do that childish crap.

But in the past season, have they not put back the idol again after the person who had it got eliminated?
