I remember Zeta! I like Bader so I'm looking forward to hearing his take on Batman. I'm probably in the minority but I also thought Sisto was great as Bats in New Frontier.

I thought Sisto's voice as Batman was one of the best things about it. It seemed deeper than stuff I've seen him act in on tv.

They canceled The Batman for this?

Looks like an animated version of the 60's Batman show. I'll watch, but I don't have any high hopes for this at all.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking while watching this trailer, and I watched the 60's version when they originally aired. Don't know if it's a good or bad thing, just another version on the Batman. I'm sure another "serious" version will come along eventually...

Cant beat the Dick Sprang style though. Hopefully the guest stars help carry it. At Comic Con they said they wanted something exactly opposite as The Dark Knight, and the show would have none of Batman's supporting characters.

And if you want bad animation, go look up BET's Black Panther trailer....

Yep. This does not look like The Brave and the Bold that I remember.

Well I don't hate this. It looks like it might have some potential.

And OMG I had completely forgot about The Gentleman Ghost. Will definitely be checking this out.

I love that Batman is using brass knuckles on a kids show.

I read that they want this to be more of an "Batman on adventures" show than previous outings. Looks cool to me and I can bet my 4 year old son will love it.

Where's Bat-mite, dammit?

Giving the thread a bump. This starts next Friday. Clone Wars and The Bat on the same night!

I love BTAS and The Batman. That said, I'm really curious to see how this retro, "funny" Batman works out. It will certainly be a departure from the recent animated versions.

I'm glad to see The Green Arrow and Blue Beetle in it.

lol @ some of the weapons though.

And that theme music sounded an AWFUL lot like Spider-Man's to me.

This looks like shit! I can't believe that WB and DC didn't let Bruce Timm and co use Plastic Man and Blue Beatle on JLU but the green lighted the character for this piece of crap. This show takes away all the dark aura Batman has, especially the part of him working mostly alone and protecting Gotham City.

Eh, if you want dark Batman you still have the comics, movies and various animated series. This is aimed at kids, and looks like a nod to the crazy Batman stories of the 50s and 60s.

I like dark Batman, but I still think this looks fun.

Absolutely loved it. Have it saved on the DVR for the rest of the season.

It seems to be aimed at the same audience as the recent Legion of Superheroes series which is cool. I ended up really liking that series.

I LOVED Batman talking about Green Arrow in the beginning. I also noticed in the opening sequence Green Lantern Guy Gardner is represented. I would be totally blown away to see Guy in a cartoon.

i was also surprised, and i really liked it.

that was a pretty grand plot for a first episode (wormhole portal to another planet, save an alien race), but it worked.

This episode was very heavy on Blue Beetle, and light on Batman. I wonder if the majority of the episodes will focus more on the partner than batman. One the one hand, I do love Batman and want to see more of him. On the other hand, we've seen every facet of batman through all the cartoon series, so maybe it'll be nice to focus on other characters (kind of like JLU).

I enjoyed it as well. A real throwback to the "let's punch our way out of this mess" style from the old days.

While I really appreciate the dark style from the previous shows and current movies, I think there is still room for this type of Batman as well. Looking forward to more episodes.

Every episode should end with them back at Wayne Manor & have Batman making cookies for this week's partner. Of course, have a line that relates to the episode that ends the show with Batman & whomever laughing.

Yes. Those other series' suck. Bader as Batman? His voice sounds stupid as shit! No fucking way.

This is not the real Batman. If I had a kid, I wouldn't let him watch it. I'd make him watch B:TAS so he wouldn't ever mistake Batman for this piece of shit.
