I too was surprised that they blindsided Mary. Joel's reasoning was good enough but they needed to boot out the weaker Chet first. I think these "fans" are so obsessed with Survivor that they think they need to make these big strategist moves from the very beginning. Its a team at first and they need to boot out the poor players before making power moves. Mike thinking was way to in-depth to begin with and now Joel will have a target on his back if Mike can huddle the masses. The alliance on that tribe is now 5 with Mike seeming to be an outcast now and the group of 3 on the other side.

I don't like the way the favorites tribe is heading. I like James and Ozzie. Amanda and Pavarti are hot. Its too bad that none of them are really focused on the game. Cirie will join the other alliance and they'll start by voting out Pavarti when they get the chance.

I don't think we'll see that for awhile since I can picture the favorites dominating for the next few challenges.

I wonder if there will be a tribe switch at any point.
