Off to Wiki I go....
Emma Frost I think is one of the best characters in the marvel world, also one of the most powerful I believe as well.

Why are Wolverine's legs so freaking skinny? Never understood that.

I didn't know that was the nick toons website. for Nick.
From that page, click the common room button on lower right and on the next page, click the 'full episodes' red button on top right.

It stinks that the US and Canadian broadcasts of this show are shown in 4:3 instead of widescreen, while the BBC version is in widescreen (as it is animated) but is edited for time and content. Argh!

Has my DVR not been recording this lately or have there just not been any new episodes in a while?

I noticed the same thing, but thought I must've removed the series recording. I didn't remember doing that, so they've either not been new or not flagged as such.

Yep, all repeats the last couple weeks. I believe the last one was "Time Bomb" with Nitro and Psylocke.

I did a TV listings search that goes out to mid-April and there are no new episodes that come up in that search.

Re: Wolverine & The X-Men - 3 min preview of new animated series

Finally got around to watching these online. I know it's a cartoon, but i just roll my eyes at how neutered wolverine is in any other medium outside of the comics. The hulk episode was by far the worst. He has his claws drawn for the entire fight with Hulk AND wendigo and his buddies, yet he only punches and kicks them.

STAB SOMEBODY.

it's made for kids. not going to happen. if you want wolvie stabbing hulk, go rent the hulk vs. dvd/blu-ray.

Re: Wolverine & The X-Men - 3 min preview of new animated series

thus why i said "i know it's a cartoon". it's more a comment about all media (even the x-movies - i think he only actually stabbed someone in X3). My point is why even have his claws out at all? If you're punching someone, claws aren't needed and it just looks awkward. Have his claws out to cut up guns and stuff, that's fine.

What? He stabbed all over Sabretooth in X1, then all over Deathstryke/Home Invaders in X2, then, X3 as well.

Re: Wolverine & The X-Men - 3 min preview of new animated series

sorry, you're right, i was thinking of the home invaders and deathstryke in X2, not X3. and the one double stab into sabretooth in X1 (which barely phased him), when he lunged off the statue of liberty's crown part. X2 was the only time i remember him just outright slashing/stabbing people in a normal fight. and yes, i know he
Spoiler:
stabbed phoenix
in X3, but that wasn't in a fight or anything like that.

I have no problem eating crow on this, my main comment was just how dumb it looks to punch people with your claws out.

Go play the Wolverine Origins video game. Plenty 'o' stabbin', decapin', bleedin', and dismemberin' with bad words thrown in to boot Bub.

Re: Wolverine & The X-Men - 3 min preview of new animated series

Is anyone else having trouble watching the new episodes on the nick toons website? I previously watched eps 1 - 8 here. But now the episode guide shows that eps 9 - 11 have been broadcast, but when I go to the "watch full episodes" page I only see eps 1- 3 listed. Has anyone been able to watch eps 9 - 11 on the site yet?

Season 2 is dead. I was looking forward to the Age of Apocalypse storyline that they hinted at.

Damn, I thought it did fairly well in the ratings?

At least Iron Man is getting a second season. Unless they drop the hammer on that as well.

Re: Wolverine & The X-Men - 3 min preview of new animated series

Like I've said before, Marvel needs to do exactly what DC did with their animated universe. Start with several characters or teams (from the regular Marvel Universe) and then tie them in the same world so they can do fan friendly crossovers. Keep characters canon close to what fans know/want (not a whiny teenager Tony Stark). It's sad that the only place where I can see multiple characters from different universe is the Super Hero Squad show.

Wow, Wolverine and the X-Men and Spectacular Spider-Man are the two best animated shows Marvel has ever done and they both get canceled prematurely.

Re: Wolverine & The X-Men - 3 min preview of new animated series

I wonder if part of the problem is a lack of outlets? I mean, these are pretty much relegated to cable channels now, right? Even the (IMHO) excellent Batman Brave and the Bold doesn't seem to be doing a lot in the ratings...
