Best episode in a while. Saracen shutting up the coach was excellent. I was completely on Coach's side for a second then wham! The kid's got a good point! Screw you Taylor!
The only part I didn't like was Smash being a drama queen. You were being recruited by Alabama. You think just because TMU pulls your scholarship you'll never play football again? Over a fist fight in a movie theater? Puh-lease. It's football, not the priesthood.
Oh, and I don't usually pay attention to the previews, but I'm looking forward to the guest star next week!

Great episode, though. It was one of the very few this season that really felt like one from last season.

Lance going back to Tyra was as real life as it gets. No chance he doesn't in real life. So i was happy to see that. Plus you can tell that other girl is extremely hot behind hte glasses, hair and clothes, so my guess is they do the high-school movie theme where she shows him what he's missing.
That or she becomes psycho. One of those 2 things will happen, just watch.

This was a great episode, perhaps the best of the season. They touched on all the characters I like the most and left out the duds. I felt sorry for the geek chick and I also agree, that baby just doesn't look right.

Also, not sure why Smash isn't out there more telling what really happened. Some racist was harassing his sister so he stood up for her. Over-the-top, yes, but you'd think would get some help with the football playin'...

Dating the cute girl who you have things in common with or continuing to the hot chick who you have had the hots for during the past year.

Does anyone know if FNL will be back after the strike yet? I know ratings still haven't been good, but I hope NBC at least finishes the original order of 22 episodes.

Great 'extras' post, Hoon!

I also thought it was interesting that Tyra technically "lost" Landry to the other girl, only to win. I don't think she's pyscho, she's just a teenage girl trying to figure herself out (hence the conversation with Mrs. Coach).
