It almost sounds like Jack, Kate, and company went back for the other group, and in the process more bad shit went down. And if they all would've just gone with Jack to begin, things would've turned out ok...?

I thought it was interesting how quickly Ben tried to get Alex out of the area, before jumping into Locke's group. He must know the shit is going to hit the fan on the beach considering he is now following the guy he shot and then left in the ditch a day or so earlier.

First Jack's now Hurley's. I'm wondering if the flashforwards are going to go be timeline wise from Jack's finale one working back to getting off the island then have the big reveal with the funeral as the series finale.

another reason that i think tonight's flash forward was BEFORE jack's was because of the alcohol that jack put in his OJ. a step towards the jack we saw in the season finale.

I think Jack's flash forward is what the show is building towards at this point.

So the guy that said he was a lawyer that came to see Hurley in the hospital - real or his imagination? I'm assuming real...so do you think he's just an inquiring mind who might be trying to figure out WTF happened, or is he a "bad guy" (whoever the hell the bad guys are going to be - not The Others, I don't think)?
I'm guessing he's "bad," and somehow The Others and the Losties that want to stay behind win whatever battle is coming, and these "bad" people can't find the island anymore.

I can't remember Ben being flat out wrong to this degree in anything he has done so far. He's the perfect manipulator.

No one has mentioned it yet, so it may have just been a glitch in my dvr, but when hurley is lost, just before he stumbles on jacobs cabin, my dvr somes a streak of red behind the trees, it looked like smokey directing hurley, but it also looked like it could be red pixelation. Anyone else see it? was it just my dvr?

Great episode, although I'm never one to say a bad thing about this show.
