Definitely one of the best episodes this show has had in a long time. Hopefully they can keep it up. The joke Shepherd played on Sloan was classic. And I noticed that Brooke Smith's name had been added to the main cast. I liked how she tore down Christina, so she's a welcome addition. Plus this means she won't be on Weeds anymore which is a nice bonus.

George and Izzie - ick couple of the year so far. I don't buy that pairing at all.
Torres and Yang - now I buy that pairing everyday of the year. I did like what Bailey had to say about being the "bad guy in a black-n-white world of parenthood and missing out on her son's "firsts". George's reaction was solid, as was his convincing of the father to accept his recently deceased daughter's heart. The union against Sloan was actually humorous in concept (and execution). Alec and Rebecca - eh... Meredith and Lexi - almost relating to one another like 2 human beings. Awww... Meredith and Chief finding a final resting/flowing place for Ellis. Awww.... The guy with the tapping foot problem, and the insane method of stopping such tapping? Yowie! Didn't really care much about McDreamy being back on the block subplot. He's sort of boring when he's not Meredith's love interest.

I love Dr. Hahn and was hoping they'd bring her in ever since the speculation about firing Washington began. Maybe she and Cristina can bond over their mutual hatred of Burke and we can get rid of Callie O'Malley altogether.
Dad?! How appropriate can you get? I'm not really buying slutty nurse Olivia and her preemptive strike against Sloan. |

I like the addition of Dr Hahn too. The competition with Christina should bring a lot of hilarity to come. Loved her reaction to Hahn getting the job. "You can't have my apartment" to the chief.

We'll be able to make a bunch of Silence of the Lambs jokes now, too.

![]() Either way I thought the ep was very good. I'm sorry to see Norman go(is he?) because he has them all figured out. I like the actress playing the new Cardio Doc so it's good to see her aboard.

Now if they can only bring back Joe from the bar across the street. He's been MIA this season.

Oh, and they finally played music from a band i like. The opening song with Grey walking down the hall was "Standing in the way of control" by The Gossip.

The first half of this episode was absolutely hilarious!
"Dad?" lol The come back prank with all of the women hitting on McDreamy. Nice! Callie OWNED Izzy. I didn't see that one coming. I'm actually surprised the marriage seems to be over so quickly. I'm actually miffed after last week's espousal of love from McDreamy, to this week's, "I need to date." WTF? If we had half a season's worth of back and forth and we saw the toll it took on him, or he found somebody else, I could understand. Plus Meredith has come farther in, what 5 episodes, than the previous 3 years!! Nice to see some old faces! Olivia and the psych guy! Guess this means Norman is gone. Oh yeah, Ava. I was happy for Alex, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it will be him and Izzy after the whole George thing runs it's course.
