These characters have become a bit too over the top for me. Gabby making out with a guy in the front row of a Political speech? The whole Carlo/Edie sex thing, the whole Susan and her Brit storyline. Plus the Pizza restaurant storyline are just to wacky.

Can you fill me in on the last minute?

My recording ended a minute too early.

So we see the various couples in various forms of coitus.....

and we go back to the old lady (character's name?) and she's yabbering on to her departed husband. She walks over to the freezer and....

err... gets another frozen tasty snack???? I don't know it cut off here...

Thanks,

I figured as such. There was a spoiler on that clip show a few weeks ago that hinted at this.

I thought this was a weak episode. There's only so many times the gruesome shot of a corpse at the end of the episode can stay interesting. But I agree with whoever said that the whole Orson/Alma/Orson's mom arc was supposed to last the entire season ... they probably had to bring it up in the season due to Cross' pregnancy and now they're a little hit or miss.

I love Desperate Housewives. Heck, I've known Marc Cherry since he was a struggling writer after Golden Girls. However, Marcia Cross's pregnancy has really screwed things up bigtime. I know it couldn't be helped, but this show without Bree, wouldn't get my attention.

By the way...what the hell happened to Zack Young? He was macking on Eva...and then he just went away
Also, they showed Paul Young with Mike in the jail during an episode, and never showed him again....what's up with that?

I'd completely forgotten about Bree.

I think the show's suffering without her. Putting Edie in with a quarter of the screentime in her place seems really out of place, and Sheridan just pisses me off as an actress. The Scavos need an interesting storyline, and soon.

I'm gonna guess that Lynette and her hot new manager might provide an interesting storyline?

Yeah, they have been a pretty happy married couple for a couple seasons now, without too many lows...TV doesn't like happy married couples. I also sense a change coming.

Pretty blah episode, imo. I thought that ending may be coming up since she was talking to the freezer, and I think the show has become pretty predictable. Ian is no longer interesting, and I don't really buy Edie as a mother (did we know she had a son before this season?) I don't know what it will take to get this show back on track, but overall it's just alright.
