No reruns of The Shield on FX?

Im not buying the new set yet becuase fx was usually pretty good on reairing the previous season right before the new one. I havent seen or heard about them doing season 5 though. What up? I wanted to watch the finale right before the new season starts next week

Ahh thanks. I saw some tonight. I had totally forgotten this channel existed.

Looks like they only show reruns on Tues and Wed, which means they wont get to the final eps of S5 till 2 WEEKS into season 6.... damn!

Maybe you should just buy the season sets...

FWIW, the dvd for season 5 has some of the best extras I've seen in a TV show dvd set. The 90-minute making-of for the season finale is worth the price alone, but you also get 10 commentaries, and a great little season 6 prequel.

Best reality show ever, and probably the only one that was actually "real".

Actually the season 5 set has 11 commentaries (all episodes) This hasn't been done since the season 1 set. But, I agree it's a fantastic DVD collection, though very short season.

Oh I will buy the set, I own all the others. But I'll wait till it falls to $20 soon. $40 is way too much, especially when the reruns can be caught still.

I think the last time I had seen spike was the original joe schmo show too. Did they ever do more than one season? I coulda sworn the station went by a different name at that time too.

It used to be TNN, before that The National Network AND originally The Nashville Network. What a long strange trip its been.

Are you kidding? A bunch of the FOX and WB sets are routinely on sale. This will be in some kind of sale at least 10 dollars cheaper, if not 20, by this fall.

God dangit I wish I read this thread earlier. You have to catch the whole thing from the start or you're f'd. It sucks when they replay great shows on channels you never turn to normally...same thing happened to me with The Wire/BET.
