06-07’ Primetime TV Season-Part One: favorite 'ABC' Comedy

just like the favorite 'CBS' comedy, i would like to know what your favorite ABC comedy was this year:

ABC- George Lopez
ABC- Knights of Prosperity
ABC- In case of emergency
ABC- According to Jim
ABC- Big Day (cancelled)
ABC- Help me, help you (cancelled)

NOTE: Through HMHY & BD are cancelled i thought i would add them cause they were on for awhile, personally i hate all ABC comedies i don't find them that funny, i thought help me, help you had a chance at being good but got canned for bad ratings. anyway what is your favorite comedy on ABC?

You're not missing much. Knights of Prosperity is good. The rest range from mediocre to awful.

Same here. And I've never even heard of Help Me Help You or Big Day, not that it matters because they're both cancelled. I don't watch Ugly Betty either.

The only two networks doing anything decent in Comedy is NBC and CBS.

Sadly, I am forced to concur. If coerced, I'd say Desperate Housewives or Brothers & Sisters before choosing any of the ones in the poll.

Help Me Help You is the only one I've seen a few episodes of, and completely forgot that I had until I saw the list.

Therefore, I did not vote since I could in no way call it a favorite anything.

With those options, I would have to give Help Me, Help You a slight edge over Knights of Prosperity. I thought it was much better than I had expected. But as others have said, I would probably give it to Ugly Betty if that were an option or Desperate Housewives.

Except for

over Kelly Hu's scenes in ICE, Knights is the only watchable ABC comedy if you are talking traditional 30-minute sitcoms.

Ugly Betty and Boston Legal are easily the consistently strong long term comedic shows on ABC. You can practically put DH and Grey's Anatomy in that category too when they emphasize comedy.

i should have added a 'ABC is the really comedy' cause all of there shows are pure awful this year, so far the only show people can half stand are knights and its cancelled now too.

Usually I hate pilots, but am I the only one who liked the pilots for BD, KoP, and ICoE, but pretty much hated the other episodes?
