Looking forward to it, although the plot is kind of ridiculous.

Holy Schnikes! Clark is mean AND nasty. I'm loving it.

I actually enjoyed this episode quite a bit, which is a surprise considering I thought it would be another lame red kryptonite episode. It advanced the storyling pretty well and really ramped up the relationship between Clark and Lex, and even with Lois.
I have to hand it to Welling. He has improved so much over the course of this show that it is striking. He's turned into a good actor. Admittedly he's not given much to work with in this show beyond the bumbling farm boy. However, when he's been given more to work with, he's really given some fine performances. I specifically remember his great performance in the episode where he and Lionel switched souls(personalities), and he was great in this episode as well. He would have made such a kickass Superman. He's convincing as the innocent, bumbling farm boy, and he's even better at anger and violence. It just wasn't meant to be. |

Welling's always had fun during the Red-K episode. Loved the tattoo on Lois (nice strategic placement, too), and the Mix CD (with Whitesnake) by her for Clark.
Poor Chloe.

She wasn't the only one, the close ups on Chloe at the end didn't exactly flatter her either. Camera was just too close. Besides those minor grips this episode surprised the hell out of me. I was expecting the usual and for the first 20 minutes it was exactly that, but once Clark fell under the influence and became a total asshole I was loving it. Welling played a horny jerk to perfection, the scene where Clark was kissing Lois and she stops him asking if this is the real thing was hilarious, I was thinking you know he would say anything at that point and sure enough it was played out exactly like that. Then the ending , Jimmy actually taking a stand to the usual sweep under the rug was a nice touch. As was the forshadowing with Lana's baby. |

Another GREAT episode. 'Hydro', 'Justice', 'Labyrinth', and 'Crimson' might be the best four episode stretch of the entire series. Things are REALLY starting to heat up. The last five minutes with Lex and Lana was good, although the whole 'If I lost you, I don't know what I would be capable of.' from Lex was eye-rolling central, but I look at it as being the last good thing Lex has going for him before he loses all hope of being a good person.
At the beginning of the season, I didn't think season six would be all that great, but this season has been amazing. Quite possibly my favorite season.

Sheesh, it makes you wonder if Lana's got that Rosemary's Baby thang going on...

I did think that the extreme close-up of Lois' lips was a bit gross.
Other than that, good episode. Lex/Lana story actually getting interesting. |

They've really amped up the soap opera tension in this season, but I think it's working for now.
Clark sure did go into a cold sweat in lickety split fashion.

Lusty Lois is always a good thing.
Frankly, I wonder why she isn't always like that - a chick that hot who can't seem to get laid. Enjoyable episode.

I liked it. I wonder, though, is that Clark Lois thing going anywhere...not necessarily to another love triangle or anything, but just can their relationship have that little thing it had in the barn?
Plus, I loved Clark's Superman poses when talking to Lois at the end. Nice touch. Oh, and will Lana FINALLY figure it out this season? Or will she just think it's a limp screwdriver?

In the last scene it looked like Lana was holding some type of abortion device. I'm not sure though, as my reception wasn't that good. Does anyone know what she was holding?

Geez, that was not an abortion device, it was the thing Lex used to try to stab Clark with in the barn (but it sort of crumpled from hitting Clark's body before Martha showed up with the kryptonite).

No but that would be one hell of a twist - literally and figuratively. ![]()

Lex must be damn strong to be able to cause that tool to bend against Clark!
![]() Seemed odd that Lionel wasn't at the engagement party. Not a bad episode for being another Red-K plot. Curious about the new revelation of Lana's baby - and whatever it is seems more like the Lex we know and love as opposed to his actually being a romantic sap with Lana. Jimmy gets a bow tie! Will he ever wear it??

I thought the episode was pretty weak. Not understanding why everyone thought it was so good. We have seen it all before.
