I assumed the Red Headed Whore was someone's funny name for Stannis's Red Priestess. Although now that I think about it, she wasn't in the first book, was she?

Its an intro scene for Jaime and Tyrion. Jaime pops into a whore house to tell Tyrion that the court is heading to Winterfell. There was also an added scene with Cersei and Pycelle but it sounds like that one has been written out of the script.

While not 100% confirmed, the actor Conan Stevens seems to be signed up to play The Mountain That Rides, Ser Gregor Clegane. I don't think they could've gotten a better guy for the role. He's 7 foot 2 and all muscle.

That will be awesome. He and McCann even have the same hairline.

Also I don't know if these guys have been confirmed either but they fit all the clues GRRM gave and the guys at the WiC blog haven't been wrong yet.

He matches the description in the book -- in fact, the last time I reread AGoT I kept thinking, "They should get that dude from Stargate Atlantis to play Drogo." You may be confused by the fact that Dany thinks of Drogo as being much older than herself, but remember, she's 14.

Amazing how much those 3 young dudes look like how I picture the characters. Not how I picture Sansa just because I always saw her as the blonde girl from Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman for some reason.. LOL. Only thing wrong with Arya is she's not 'horse faced' but no biggie.

I still dont understand how they are going to expect an actress that young to pull this character off. Might be the greatest acting job in TV history to just to make it believable

I agree. Martin is always talking about how hard Bran is going to be to play but Bran has always seemed like a pretty typical child to me. Arya is more like a 25 year old stuck in a 9 year old's body.
