So by the title, I am assuming that this is the one where

Spoiler:
Cox injures himself and has to walk around with a cane and solves numerous mysteries quickly?

So, am I the only one that recognized J.D.'s female patient was Cousin Corky from The Weird Al Show?

I thought I recognized her from somewhere, but looking at her profile on IMDB, I didn't see her in anything substantial enough for me to remember.

I thought that Dr. Cox was going to be using the cane the whole episode. I loved how it wasn't until he gets the cane, that he figured out how to solve all three mysteries. Maybe the cane has special powers?

Sarah in that outfit?

Good episode.

I liked the cane and the how they spoofed the moment of realization House always has after something happens.

This is the first one of the new season that just felt like the good old Scrubs and not forced like the others.

I thought this was a pretty funny episode. Best moment for me was the painting in Elliot's new room done by the Janitor. That was great!

[Chandler]Could it BE anymore obvious that Carla was the one with postpardum depression?[/Chandler]

Seriously, some of her statements were dead giveaways.

I am curious to see how the relationship with JD and Kim ends. Maybe she will be offered a permanent job away and choose to remain there?

I know. It's like they were hitting us over the head with the knife/wrench.

My guess is she'll lose the baby. Turk and Carla did the getting married and having a baby thing over two seasons. They don't want to run that route again. At least I don't hope so.

Loved the rip on Dane Cook.

I think the point illustrated by Carla's obvious depression is that the ones who should recognize it don't, despite their professed vigilence, most likely because they cannot view it from a distance.

The seriousness with which it's depicted seems to say that this type of non-diagnosis is common.

How long has Carla been in the hospital? That baby looked to be at least two months old.

And for that matter, since when do a working doctor and nurse not have health insurance?

The "PAINTER" card was hilarious. "Call Janitor".

They still could have insurance but most insurance compainies only pay for a couple days after giving birth with no complications. Actually, I got a letter from our hospital when my wife gave birth that said we should check to see if they will pay for more than 1 day because a lot have stopped paying for the 2nd day. (natural childbirth that is, they would allow longer for c-section). I wouldn't think the hospital would just let you stay if you wanted but I guess its believable since they work there.

I'm not under the impression that they were trying to surprise us with the Carla reveal at the end. I think it was intentionally painfully obvious.
