SNL 11/11/06 - (H) Alec Baldwin (M) Christina Aguilera

Alec Baldwin makes his 13th appearance as host of SNL (only one more to top Steve Martin).

I loved the promo with Mya Rudolph where he said that the difference between SNL and 30 Rock was a lot more money.

... we so need a Zinger vs. Burns skit!

Season 32 so far...
09/30/06 - (H) Dane Cook (M) The Killers
10/07/06 - (H) Jaime Pressly (M) Corinne Bailey Rae
10/21/06 - (H) John C. Reilly (M) My Chemical Romance
10/28/06 - (H) Hugh Laurie (M) Beck
11/04/06 - The Best of Darrell Hammond
11/11/06 - (H) Alec Baldwin (M) Christina Aguilera
11/18/06 - (H) Ludacris (M) Ludacris
11/25/05 - Thanksgiving Holiday
12/02/06 - (H) Matthew Fox (M) Tenacious D
12/09/06 - (H) Cameron Diaz (M) TBA

das
I went back and tallied all of the 'recaps' and here's the responders by completion. After this week's ep, I'll post a thread about the reviewers and we'll narrow it down. Right now we have had 13 different people post their views, but only 5 are at 100%, 2 at 75%, and 2 at 50%:

... a note to lotsofdvds... I've made a guess as to your score using UPs and Downs, but we were looking for a letter grade, not a Pass/Fail.

Alternative to the 'Charlie-Goose-O-Meter' on SNL this year...

You can take my name out of the running. I was just doing it for fun because those two episodes were one of the few times I've watched the show in the last few years. I certainly won't be a reliable source for reviews.

I am generally not a fan of Alec Baldwin, but it seems like he is always great on SNL. I have (relatively) high hopes for this one.

Is it just me, or did Amy look like Beverly D'Angelo in that dating website skit?

I was trying not to pay attention to her. Like some have previously mentioned, she's grating my nerves..

Martin Short looking into the camera as he dips his fingers into the scotch and takes them away..."sad".

Why do they even need the rest of the cast tonight?

Oh she definitely didn't lip-sync, but the backup track was definitely on the loud side.

Didn't they do pretty much the same skit when Tom Hanks joined the 5-timers club? Jon Lovitz had Martin Short's role? Guess there was no attempted murder in that one.

The carpool sketch was the funniest one they've done in I don't know how long
