Seventh Heaven musical episode

Oh my god. That was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. I'm scarred.

Did they do the song about how the dry cleaner got the mustard stain out? Man, that's a great song.

Maybe it was simulcast on Lifetime.

We used to watch Seventh Heaven all the time to laugh at how bad it was, but it's gotten too bad even for that. Still, when we saw that it was a musical we had to see it. It was literally the worst thing I've ever seen on TV.

And JasonF, we had to throw in the Buffy DVD and watch Once More With Feeling just to get that SevHev mess out of our ears. Worked great! They got the mustard out!

Is Jessica Biel still on that show? She was the only reason I used to watch it. That and I only had 5 channels at the time.

Alas after she appeared in Gear magazine the show's producers got mad at her and barely ever allowed her on again. These days they don't even mention her character. In fact, Mary got married and had a baby, all off screen. So ridiculous.

Or at least that's what I heard.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to see a few seconds of it. I was dismayed that the actors appeared to be using their own voices. THEY CANNOT SING.

How many times has this show jumped the shark? I think the shark didn't even bother rising to the surface of the water for a bite on this pass.

I skipped watching it. Saw the preview and decided some UFO special on the History Channel would be better. Learned my lesson after watching that poopfest that Buffy pulled. After I watched that horror, my opinion of the whole series went downhill. I figured the same would happen with 7th Heaven so I skipped it. At least I can watch future episodes without nightmares of a singing episode.

I tivoed this and am at the nine-minute mark. I don't think I'm going to make it much further.

It's amazing how amateurish this is. I think the actors choreographed their own "dances" and purposefully did seven hours of screaming the night before filming.

I've watched the show once. But, I was thinking about watching the musical, because many of my friends liked the Buffy musical, even though they didn't watch that show.

And to think that this show has been renewed to a 10th season. As much as we "hate" this show in here, people are still watching it unfortunately.

I'll agree. Kind of curious now how bad this was.
Did the parents sing?
The dog?

You know, I misread your post. so, yeah, we're in "agreeance."

I think the show really took on a serious situation (Simon's acident) and just can't get out of that funk.

My whole family watched the show.

During the breaks, I sang songs to my wife about my how much I love her. And then the kids got into it. I cannot sing at all, so I really like it when Kevin sang his song to Lucy. It hurt to listen to him sing, but I am glad they did not dub the song, it made my song sound good.

It was a fun show to watch.
