Seems like the Las Vegas crew will look bad on Crossing Jordan, and vice versa. I wish Mary had crossed over as well

After watching CJ last night it reminded me why I bailed on this show last year.
Det. Woody is just so annoying and Jordan... I'm sorry, she reminds me of somebody's aunt. Her sex appeal went down the crapper AFAIC.

I'll check out LV tonight (I was gonna watch anyway) but I have a feeling I'll be more looking forward to LV next week when this story line is done.

I gave up on CJ before Woody joined, but if I hadn't, he definitely would have made me give up on the show. Off the top of my head, I can't think of one thing that I enjoyed him in.

Since I watch both shows, I liked the crossover through the first ep. I actually like Woody on CJ - he blends in w/ the rest of the cast well, imo.

As for the second ep - goofier than the first, of course.

Vanessa's hot.

I thought the Vegas episode was better than the CJ part.

I don't know why they brought Woody over. It seemed rather pointless.

The Las Vegas portion was funny as hell in the first half hour with Woody getting Vegas fever, and Jordan going undercover. Ed's uncomfortableness being around Gillian 24/7 is always fun to watch. Having Snoop Dogg walk in on Ed and Gillian was classic. The wrap-up to the actual crime case was okay, nothing awe-inspiring, but finally Woody gets paid off in spades at the end, though he has to give up his Viper, and the Mortician from Boston has made a friend in Vegas. Danny and the one with the big chest (Jordan's description) finally go out on their date (cheap and with an ice cream theme on rooftop of the casino).

Is the Jerry O'Connell character that idiotic all the time? How in the world does he make detective? I really don't understand why he even crossed over.

Jill Hennessey is still pretty damn hot.

Overall, it was eh.

I almost lost it every time Jordan tried to get Woody to go to the topless pool with her.

I thought those were scenes were pretty damn humorous, too.

I agree.

The LV episode was much better than the CJ episode. Snoop Dog's line "Good, now you can arrest yourself for playing those dumbass cards" had me laughing my ass off.

Bumping this thread up to the first page since these two episodes air back to back tonight starting at 9:00 pm ET.

Question: Any chance the "Crossing Jordan" episode will be on the second season DVD of "Las Vegas"? or will we get say a ten minute recap (with just the crossover story) before the "Las Vegas" version airs? We definiately should at least get the latter right? I know Mike does a great recap at the bar 10-15 mins in but it wouldn't be the same. Or will they just totally forget the whole crossover event?

LB...

Unless they are made by the same production company, I doubt it. For example, none of the L&O episodes in the L&O/Homicide crossovers are available on the Homicide season sets.

NBC was the production company for both...but that maybe just because they both air on NBC..The individual production company for each show is different though ..but there's a possability I guess ..If one was on NBC and one on CBS I would be inclined not to think it could happen..but here's to hoping it will..
